  • Own my own - that's great news about you being able to put stuff in the school staff room. I'm sure you will get plenty of orders as your crafts are brilliant.

Been printing new labels for jars today. Very excited and now split my bil jars of humbugs up as I can't decide between the labels since I liked all the ones I printed as tests :o
Also been watching Christmas 24. Recorded a few, but we are getting rid of sky so will have to watch them as won't be able to once subscription ends.

Morning. Does anyone know where I can find pink or red striped paper bags? It's for posting my homemade Christmas decorations. I tried wrapping them in tissue paper but they looked messy. I thought a nice paper bag with a nice sticker to seal it would look better than just wrapped in bubble wrap. I just can't find what I'm looking for x

Is this what you are looking for ?

Well it's been decided (well me and mum gang pressed dad in to), a Christmas shopping trip tomorrow. Poundland and Wilkinsons look like good places to start. Been marking down what I want to look at. Has anyone seen the vintage tags in Poundland, do they look good in person?

Sorry I went to work and am just getting back on. Thank you for all the links, these are perfect. I didn't think to search for sweetie bags. I searched paper bags and just got lots of gift bags. X

humph - disapointed in Snow 2. It lacked the christmas magic for me.

wow so many post in past 2 days, my m&s didnt have any christmas tree biscuits (thanks for people posting about them or wouldnt have gone in to look) but got the phone box ones on 342 half price at £4.50 thats 3 presents sorted. then i was thinking with them being nice tins dont want to cover them up so have cellophaned one and used my "merry christmas" ribbon and then going to let ds decorate with some x-mas stickers

i am hoping my pic comes up in the message, have completely forgotten how to put a picture on not done it in months.:(

got ds's main present yesterday so now he is all done although keep on seeing things thinking he will like that and having to stop myself. just mum and dad's main presents and couple of stocking filler gifts hoping to get them sorted in the next couple of weeks.

i prefer waiting to wrap presents so i can put on some christmas music and have a drink :) plus if i did it now i would be far too hyped up about christmas! no one really does the same as me and people think im mad but i love the organising part and the wrapping especially now when the christmas things are out i love walking around the shops looking at them - christmas is my favourite time of year :snow_laug

ohhh that shortbread phone box would be ideal in my mums hamper, but looks expensive at £4.50 anyone seen the same type of design cheaper anywhere?

  • I haven't seen those gift tags cos I was in my local pound land yesterday...wish I had as I had a similar idea. Bought plain luggage labels from amazon and East of India stamper that says "do not open til December 25th" and an ink pad from John Lewis. You can buy luggage tags in there with that already printed but they were 3 quid I think for 6...Which i thought was a bit steep.Getting the stamper and the labels works out cheaper and I can use the stamper for years to come. I don't normally make much of an afford with the wrapping but this year I thought I would.

ive done exactly the same! got my dad to pick up some brown tags from his work, and bought the "do not open until dec 25th" stamp and ink pad off ebay, also bought some pretty ribbon from wilko.
    **Waiting for a BIG win!**

    Thank you all posters!
