  • I forgot to mention that my 'local' pub is now selling turkey, cranberry and stuffing sandwiches. A friend and I happily tucked into them on Sunday. Delish! :D

Does anybody know where I can find about 30 lollipops that weigh less than 100g and are no thicker than 5mm??

We bought the mini chupa chups lollies from asda I think they're selling them off from halloween, can't remember how much sorry but it was a big bag of them quite cheap.

The lolly is approx 12mm wide and its tiny; Don't think you can get a 5mm lolly, that would be a tic tac on a stick lol, unless you mean the width of the stick itself? In which case these are about 2mm.

that sounds nice. Its weird because cranberry sauce was the only "fruit" sauce I never had with meat (I had apple, plum, mint etc sauce with meats) and I tried it as an experiment and really enjoyed it so I am going to try this

    Hello all!

We had a hard frost here this morning, one of the poor kitties seemed to be skating across the shed roof on his way out, may have to let him out of the front door tomorrow if it's frosty, he's old and not quite as agile as he think s he is.

Hubby has ordered a 6ft tree from Groupon (I think) for £13.99+ postage. Don't know how great it will look but for the price it'll do even if it gets sold on next year. Will need to buy some decs now. We've had a 4ft fibre optic for the past few years and never bothered with tree decs, just added extra lights.

Made some Christmas cards yesterday aft and having a craft night with my bessie tomorrow evening. She wants to make some to sell where she works so hopefully this will motivate her. I need to make some flat cards (not 3D decoupagey types that I've already done) that will be cheap to post.

I need to join you in here, nobody around me is in the least bit festive yet but I caught my first film yesterday as I realised Christmas 24 is on!

I have also dialled my DAB radio at work into Smooth Xmas but I have resisted thus far, that won't last long though.

  • Yes, the reindeer advent was from eBay , a tad expensive but ho hum. Picked up some decs from wilk0. Think I'm going to spend this week getting everything organised and see what is left to be done, nearly there!
