Evening!
Went to the B00ts Christmas extravaganza. DH bought the hot brush I wanted, 2 giftsets for 2 of his sisters and I got mum the royal jelly set she wanted as the free part of the 3 for 2.
Getting there with the pressie buying now0 -
Just wanted to say thankyou to everyone. I'm now on my way to creating a Christmas eve hamper for my 2 kiddies. So far, I have got:
* Christmas characters fro the ard factory
* Christams eve PJs from Primark
* Gingerbread house and cookie christmas tree kits from B&M
* a Christmas blanket from Primark
* a couple of Christmas stories to read before bedtime
Also plan on getting xmas DVD (anyone know the name of the new one that's due out?), popcorn/sweets, slippers and a Santa stop sign. Anything else????
I want to put it all in a nice Christmas box but can't find a christams themed one. The plan is to get a good quality one and then reuse it next year and so on.
Also, I'm thinking of making chocolate slabs for teachers/family. I'd like a Christmas shaped mould but struggling to find one below £5. Is that normal? If anyone can suggest somewhere...
To 'send' them in, I'm looking at cellophane. Do I need a roll or bags??? Best places to get them from????
Sorry for so many questions. I have ALWAYS loved Christmas and this year you have all got me really giddy with it. Thankyou :T0 -
Am adding 2 more goodies to my crafting list.

Thanks for the tip!0 -
On My Own I cant keep up with all the crafty things you are doing! Im lucky if I manage at least 1 idea every now and then! Your chocolate slabs are on my list for this year, I have loads of choc, just need decoration bits and a mould of some kind (probly have something I can use knocking about in the kitchen)
Me and DS aged 3 both made new friends through his day nursery and today we met up at a soft play place that is within a huge church (cathedral house, huddersfield) and noticed they are having 'winter wonderland' - more than just a christmas market! I got so excited as Ive never been to anything like this before (never found anything so local before) so 8th Dec is in my diary :T it will go nicely with kirkwood hospice's 25th anniversary christmas fair at my local sports centre on the 18th Nov, cant wait!!
Said church also had a fun fair and firework display tonight so took my DD as she was the only one awake, or not poorly or not at her nans! Only spent about £15 in total (parking, admission, food) luckily its half term and I didnt want pressies being delivered this week so I had it to use! Need to order a mountain bike on Monday but then my 4 children are very nearly done....excluding extra bits they are gonna get because Im so organisedGood enough club member number 140
