Hi all
Speaking of Dolce Gusto myself, DH and my wonderful Dad all used to work in Dolce Gusto/Nestle (I got laid off a few years ago and went on to get a different job, Dad passed away and DH still works at Nestle but is now incharge off the nescafe side of things)
Absolutely great company to work for and we get the boxes of capsules for a £1 in the staff shop
Had a pumpkin party last night and it went down brilliantly, going to keep my halloween decorations up till bonfire night.
On a Christmas note I've had quite a few bits delivered which I ordered, including a beautiful turquoise seahorse necklace for MIL (she loves seahorses) so thats her done.
Got husband a Banksy mug with a lid (sort of travel style) for £1.79 and a matching Banksy keyring 49p out of Home Bargains. thought they'd make nice stocking fillers
Today DH has seen a new york duvet cover he loved in Wilko's. I've actually done him a New York themed hamper as we really want to go there sometime. So I'm going to finish it off with the duvet.
Got a couple of lovely mistletoe decoration in wilko's today.
Bought some Christmas mags to read today, and 5 Christmas books from a charity shop. DH is at work till 10pm so I shall have a quiet afternoon with them, a hot choc and my Christmas candle burning...bliss. Later on I'll have a bath with a christmas product from Lush which I got last year for Christmas
We are currently redecorationg the apartment and have had some new rugs. We got a cherry red sparkly rug for the bedroom. I'll bring it into the living room as it's got a Christmassy feel to it
This afternoon I may even wrap up some presents. After all now it November Christmas is next month!0 -

I don't think the lego and playmobil ones are badly priced at christmas because you do get a decent amount of toys in them, In the lego ones, the figured end up being worth twice what you paid in the first place so I really don't think £25 is that bad, Most of the time they get reduced to around £19 as well which is even better.
DS has got a playmobil one this year - Its £20 everywhere but I will confess to getting it for £8 on a glitch early in the year so for that price i was chuffed.
With decent chocolate ones costing upto a fiver anyway, Paying a few extra pounds for a toy based one sees like a bargain to me.:ochirpychick wrote: »I remember seeing the £20 ones and £25 ones I didn't remember more excessive lol (maybe baby brain!!) I think it's because they are older years one that are no longer in production and therefore the toys are classed as rare 'one offs' so for collecters of lego or playmobil, they will pay it as there will be so few of them in comparison to the other available toys.Having a coke with youis even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne

I cant wait to listen to cheesy christmas songs0
