Evening everyone. The girls at work had been asking about my hampers for a while, so i finally remebered to take them some pics in today. They were so impressed that 3 of them have asked me to make hampers for them. One wants a spongebob one for her 8yr ds, one wants an xmas eve one for 7yo twins, and another wants a curry night hamper for her oh. I wasnt expecting this and was a little stumped when they asked how much. So I have said £25 each. I plan to spend £20 on actual hampers & contents, and then after tissue paper, cellophane & ribbon I hope to make about £3 per hamper. This is something I really enjoy doing, so im not looking to make a huge profit. But I want to pack them as much in as I can for my money, pjs from primark, poundland stuff etc. So if anyone see's any SPONGEBOB bargains, please please let me know. I have told them they will be ready by first week in December, I cant believe I am going to be paid (however little) for doing the thing I enjoy most in the world...shopping for bargains!! Time to catch up on all your posts now...I'll be back! :rudolf:It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0

re baby names: Levan & Franklin are both gorgeous names! eldest dd is rheanna, lots of people hated it, and to be fair i was never too keen (my ex chose it), but it really suits her, gets shortened to rhea (greek godess) and her friends think its such a cool name because of a certain pop star! with youngest dh read somewhere years ago that her name means "her fathers daughter", when i announced i was pregnant first thing he said was "can we call it amelia" thank goodness she was a she!!! again, lots of people didnt like it too old fashioned, but it means so much to my dh, it suits her, and i get to call her millie which has always been my fav girls name!
go with what you like, once everyone else sees bubba, they will soon change their minds about the name! It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -
Been off a few days and I have just caught up lol.
Not had too much Christmas shopping/planning with going to Gran's, Halloween and catching some kind of bug or something.
Can't believe the price of the playmobil advent calendar!
SuagarSpun - the spongebob things look great. I know i set a limit for people but one or two of those thing may end up in sisters presents.
Whoever posted the rudolph up, its sooooo cute. I may have to get one when i am next near a card factory.
Bought parents anniversary gift. Was in tesco at weekend looking for a slow cooker for Gran with the family and they had a crock pot one for reduced to £17. They have been after a second one for batch cooking so offered to get them that. Just there Christmas to get now. Mum is being the hardest to buy for lol.“I'm selfish, impatient and a little insecure. I make mistakes, I am out of control and at times hard to handle. But if you can't handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best.”

Littlemschatabox that is awful, will be thinking of you tomorrow and fingers crossed you get it sorted very very quickly!
Damzel I'm glad you are sorted:)
Chirpy please don't listen to any negative comments you've got enough to think about at the moment. Just let them wash over your head:(
You and hubby will choose the perfect name for your bubba. I love love love your choices so far. Loved Levan and now you've mentioned Franklin I love that too so I'm no help. But Mummy and Daddy ALWAYS kno best so you've no need to worry:)
Another no spend day for me:)The secret of Christmas

would like to thank whoever mentioned hte chocolate slabs - am going to get my older two to do some of these and make gifts for their teachers, and lidl chocolate makes it soooo cheap - only need to get some little clear bags and ribbon to make them look nice. i even have some white chocolate letters(were brought for a cake and reduced to 10p so brought 5 packs ages ago) and am going to put their names on them!!!
Let the slab cool slightly before putting the letters on it, or they will sink and melt.
Have lost the quote but dd was born in July. Ds' teddy was called Jeffrey, so he may have originally got the name from the TrU advert.
The poor thing (Jeffery) is nearly 19 now and has no nose, but I think ds still loves him more than he loves dd.:rotfl:0 -
Hey everyone,
thanks for all the kind words regarding bubs name - I said to hubby to me he is Levan, I have been calling him that for months, thats what we chose and it has so much meaning behind it, I don't want him to get picked on but then he could get picked on for any number of reasons. I think we will stick with what feels right to us. Thank you.
I have been to A&E tonight about my toe/foot. I had an x ray but wore a really cool apron LOL and good news - no broken bones I have muscle/tendon damage and the amount of swelling is whats causing nerve sensitivity (pins and needles etc) I am really relieved about that, rest and ice packs should have it better in a few weeks.
My mum sent me a giant bean bag as an early Christmas present today.
This is the one if anyone else is interested in buying one as a gift or something as they're 50% off at the moment

I love it but it is very large just incase anyone doesnt realise lol.
I got the dark blue as my sofa and curtains are navy. I love that it can be wiped clean.Everything is always better after a cup of tea0 -

thanks for that - would have proberly had a disaster as i wouldnt have thought of this x0 -
Chirpy - Name the baby what feels right to you both. We decided early on with both Pip and Pea what their names would be and luckily they really suit them. Pip is really Aidan as we know for a fact he was "made" in Dublin so we wanted something Irishy. Pea is Zoe and we got that name from the actress in the comedy "New Girl", both saw it and liked it. If Pip had been a girl he was going to be Phoebe, we always assumed if next baby was a girl we would use the same name but it just didnt feel right once I was actually pregnant so we went back to drawing board. Both times we have struggled to come up with a name for the opposite of what they actually were IYSWIM, with Pip couldnt think of a girls name easily and with Pea couldnt think of a boys!
My friend just named her baby Atticus and whilst it wouldnt be my choice the abuse she got on Facebook when she announced it was ridiculous, what you call YOUR baby is up to you and no one else x x
Oh and Baby will love the beanbag too, Pea likes to chill on it as it feels warm and supports her like a cuddle would.
Just had a nice soak in the bath with some Arnica ( C-section scar still very sore and infected) and Christmas good food magazine
Just had an email from Amazon cancelling my Disney christmas boxset order as its only a single DVD and they apologise for it being misleading.Debt at LBM [strike]£17,544[/strike] £5700:TOver £14,000 PAID OFF :T
