two breast cancer and one british heart foundation. Anyone any suggestions of where else is selling badges other than the actual charity shops? Disappointed that AgeUK dont seem to do any (in relation to nan having dementia).
Dunelm had charity pins by their tills of Wallace, Gromit or the evil penguin! I can't rememeber what charity they were for though sorry. I really want the penguin one.Plus my old granny. I will get her some crisps, lol. And some mackiesons. It's what she likes
My mum is buying her Grandma crisps this year tooShe's in a home most of the time now and really misses her crisps so it will hopefully be a well received present!

This made me smile. I'm inclined to agree with him! :rotfl:Quiz question: Who was famously told, You'll go down in history?

Excellent thank you, I'll definitely use that onespacecadet1 wrote: »Sorry hadn't read all thread, just caught up & realise that's already been suggested!
Thank you for the idea, unfortunately I used that one last year and I don't want to make it too easy :rotfl:
My first attempt at a multi quote so I hope it has worked. Went into B&Ms tonight to look for the mini Baileys but ours doesn't seem to stock themOtherwise, most of my presents seem to be coming in dribs and drabs from internet shopping so need to sort them all out and make another list and decide what I need to finish off.

Everybody is doing so well. I am continuing to chant my mantra I will not spend, I will not spend.....
However I do have a question for you lovelies. I've decided when we visit our VVVDGD in January I'm going to take with us the presents she should have had in her Christmas stocking! I'm "borrowing" the idea from an earlier poster (sorry cant remember who) and following a colour theme. VVVDGD is orange crazy. My mission is to fill her stocking with all things orange. Slight problem that Australian customs are very very strict and I don't want to have to declare any food items (will already have to declare a lot of medication) So no food, sweetie etc:( I have up to now an orange snuggle blanket, orange shampoo, orange bouncy ball and ideas? xxx
ETA forgot also got orange nail varnish, orange paper/cards
VVVDGD will be three xxx
Little cuddly toy?
Stickers?
Notebook and orange crayon? (That might look a bit odd!)Hobnobs are like marines0 -
Me and mum are up for joining everyone at Hearts Delight assuming I'm not working of course!0

Thank you, I have decided to make these with the children I care for as extra pressies for the parents. I may need to borrow some tins as I have 8 mindees and would like to do it all in one hit! I found some bags in poundland today but it would mean I need to break them.
Thats a fantastic idea, would go well with my homemade fudge, jam and hot chocolate jars!!Life is what you make it.0 -

ohhh to spend.... or not to spend.... that is the question..... lol!
I was going to suggest making one. But I think it would cost just as much in material, cotton and poppers.
I think £15 is quite reasonable really.
You would most probably be able to sell it on Ebay when he has outgrown using it, as it will have only been used for a short time. If you use it for 4 weeks a year, it should still be like new in years to come.0 -
Thank you your brains are working well. Making another list:) xThe secret of Christmas

orange gift ideas (sorry if some have already been posted)
orange playdoh
orange ty beanie
brave doll & dvd (my dd is convinced her hair is orange!)
orange brush & hair accessories (u should be able to get some fairly cheap now - halloween colours!)
orange plastic cup / beaker
backpack
socks / tutu skirt (neon orange - think hb still have them in)
make a little book, print off pics of "orange" things to colour in (if you can think of enough) and fill an orange pencil case with different orange pens, crayons, pencils - we did this in a pink theme for dd last year & it went down a treat!!
hope these help :rudolf:It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -
