Just is case you don't know the starter pack is actually better value you get 1 large & 2 small figures while in the booster pack you only get the 1 large figure and only £10 more and a spare portal just in case!!!
    ;);)

that was my hubbys point of view and must say i do kind of agree with him!!!
  • Thanks Pinksteps I thought there had been some duvets mentioned!! Had a look at your links and they all look lovely, but i am definately swaying towards the n*xt ones as they will be for children :)

Hi Keely if you search cello bags or cello wrap on eBay or amazon you will see a huge selection in all shapes and sizes. Florist wrap is equally as good for hampers.
Keely I second Amazon, I got lovely santa/reindeer rolls on there

Jingle All The Way just on Sky Family (Sky channel 306) it's on again 9,40 tonight, the kids loved it

Clayton and Own my Own am glad you got the tins, arent they lovely? mine is on the table in the dining room and I give it a quick twist every time I pass it! it did cross my mind last week wether they may put it as an offer like they did the gingerbread tins, but as were only 2 left I got one as I thought it would be typical knowing my store that they would never have any more in again if I didnt! may get another tomorrow when I pop in, DD has dentist so I may wonder in as it's nearby :) Really hope everyone manages to get one that wants one, I love mine ...can you tell??

Thank you :D (sorry I forgot to say thank you earlier on)

    keely.

OMO you should definitely put some of your ideas forward on the £5 festive fillers thread - I'm stealing your "Hotel Chocolat" slab idea :)

I had a quick look last night, but I don't know which one to pick.

Have only just got back ourselves. Left at 9 this morning. Everything takes so long when you have a baby with you.

How was the roads ? Did you come back on the M25 ? We heard there had been a multi car accident, so came home on the A130 via Southend.

Well the day started with dd becoming hungry 20 mins after we left . So I stopped off at a roadside van. There were lots of Lorries there so I knew it was Ok, (Dad used to be a Tanker driver so we always use places with lorries there.)

Anyway, me and best friend walk into a van full of men, Owner asks where we're off to and bf says 'Christmas Shopping!':eek: I have never seen anything like it. The looks on their faces was HYSTERICAL.:rotfl:

Got most of what I wanted, but H&M didn't do homeware, so will have to order pinnies online.

I feel so old this evening. :(

I used to be able to shop all day and go out clubbing that same night.

I am now in my pjs with my new comfy, granny slippers on.:rotfl:
(dds words not mine, although now I look at them, my Nan would be proud):rotfl:

So sorry Popularfurball please excuse my dizziness. Another Mancunian:) thanks for the Aberkan advise. It's such a small world isn't it. The stall you recommended on Ashton market is I think run by the Busy Hands Shop in Ashton although I've never been ( keep meaning to- for several years) but the lady who runs the shop is the wife of the man on altrincham market Graham. He has the best ribbon selection ever :) however market days don't really suit!

Linky you are entitled to put your feet up in granny slippers now:)

Everybody is doing so well. I am continuing to chant my mantra I will not spend, I will not spend.....
However I do have a question for you lovelies. I've decided when we visit our VVVDGD in January I'm going to take with us the presents she should have had in her Christmas stocking! I'm "borrowing" the idea from an earlier poster (sorry cant remember who) and following a colour theme. VVVDGD is orange crazy. My mission is to fill her stocking with all things orange. Slight problem that Australian customs are very very strict and I don't want to have to declare any food items (will already have to declare a lot of medication) So no food, sweetie etc:( I have up to now an orange snuggle blanket, orange shampoo, orange bouncy ball and ideas? xxx
ETA forgot also got orange nail varnish, orange paper/cards
    VVVDGD will be three

Nic don't be so hard on yourself:( come in and enjoy the chatter. We are all here for each other and will help you through:) Your changing bag sound gorgeous don't forget to post a picture when it's done we'd love to see it. And what you fancy making but have no time for this year make a list and do it next year or even the year after. That's what I'm doing. You are supposed to ENJOY what your doing not stress yourself out about it:) Christmas preperation is the best bit I think:) xxx
    The secret of Christmas
It's not the things you do at Christmastime
But the Christmas things you do
    All year through

  • hi guys, someone mentioned a christmas duvet cover....?..... I have had a good hunt around online but can only really see the 'xmas countdown' one in N*xt.... very tempted to buy for my DS's... although it feels a little extravagant but i figure it'll be used every year :) before i succumb can anyone let me know if they've seen any others on their xmas travels? thank you, thank you x

I think H&M have some christmassy duvets but not sure of the size or price, sorry.

Found an orange shower gel in Superdrug. You could maybe get an orange bath scrunchie to go with it.

EDIT They also do a choc orange face pack.
