*Grins at Maggie* he so will!
morning all!
thanks Own My Own re the M&S mag, I will ask next time Im in store. They seem very stressy recently in my store too - the other day I picked up 3 things which all had the same 3 for 2 mix n match label and one didnt come off at total, when I checked she very crossly said they were different departments and they have to be 3 from the same dept to qualify ... one was wrap, one tags and one choccy coins, but the coins were in a big tub right by the wrap etc in the gift section! how on earth anyone would know which section is where is beyond me, they have biscuits and choccies in the gift section as well as food, they have wrap and tags in the food section ... very bizaar! was a bit taken aback by how cross she was, it's hardly clear! Bit scared to ask anyone anything in there at the moment!
No Christmas Good Food mag, but they did have the Sainsburys Christmas mag which is huge this year and has a cooks calendar (whatever that is, not opened it yet) at £1.60, also have the Jamie Oliver mag but didnt get it as it looks like a similar one to the last 2 years which Ive kept
they have new chocolate flavour Party Rings, the snack bags are 65p on half price and the packs are 50p half price ...will try and hide them but my kids are like truffle piggies!0 -
Forgot to add, DH is taking me down to Birmingham next Saturday 10 November, any suggestions on shops to go to or places to visit? Thanks in advance elves x
the Bullring is fabulous, Hotel Chocolat and Disney Store, Selfridges etc - there's a big Primark on New Street opposite
for eating - theyve opened a Handmade Burger there ...just my favourite place to eat, top quality, the hand cut chips with garlic mayo to die for!0 -
Are these any good?? £6.99, or 2 for £10. There were lots in my local 'The Works' but postage is only 99p.

You dont make chocolate form scratch (its a very industrial process) so just buy chocolate...I know OMO used Aldi or Lidil ones and had great success..its so cheap at 39p for 100g wont matter if your first attempt doesnt go to plan! plus it will continental chocolate so will taste scrummy HTH0 -

I'm a Good Food subscriber and my copy came last night, however I haven't had chance to look at it yet as I didn't get in until 10pm so i'm MEGA EXCITED to go home and look at it tonight! It's very sparkly and enticing!
I also bought the Prima mag the other and day it's got loads of good Christmas stuff and ideas in it. My Grandma gave me her copy last year and I loved it so remembered to buy a copy this year!
I'm also mega excited it's November tomorrow!! It's starting to feel like we can really let go now and fully embrace out Christmasness without being chastised! :j:T:beer:0 -

Yayyy, its pay day and I just spent lots of money!!
Managed to pick up lots of sweets and candy cains in the pound shop for my sweet jars. And also a silicone cupcake mould, which I am going to use to do smaller chocolate slabs! Also picked up a burger dog toy for bf parents dog!
Caved in an bought a musical tin in m&s, went the other day and wasnt sure so thought if they had any today I would get one. They only had about 5 left & had like 20 on Monday!! Also got a bottle of bucksfizz for £3 something. They did have an offer for two bottles for a fiver but I only needed one. Wanted to get my gift wrap too, but didnt have enough hands to carry it cos I was gettng the bus back! Will pop back Monday.
Went to wilkos, they where getting rid of Halloween & putting out xmas decs and lights etc. They have got some lovely gift wrap etc this year and I saw some cute little straws with cardboard penguins and polar bears on which I might go back for.
I bought two lovely white photo frames, one for bfs grandparents and one for old boss. They are lovely will look for link (theyre not online but are in the little birds range) Also got my goddaughter a phonics book because she started school in sept & thats what Im teaching ours!
Then I went to Primark! Bought myself some new things in there, needed a couple of warm jumpers & got two sparkly blouses for xmas time!
Got one of my sisters some lovely new gloves. And my goddaughter some little beaded braclets and a drawstring Minnie Mouse bag reduced down to £2.
Doesnt sound like I got that much but having a big shop with my mum at the weekend so hopefully I can tick afew things off my list then & I need to do an amazon order. Might go do that nowwww!0
