He is 19 and has aspergers.
That is my DS to a tee, plus the OCD! the thing about them being little and coming out with things is it's cute, not so much when they are nearly 6ft and come out with their little gems. DS's latest is I am not aloud to shake anyones hand because they are a Mason! A difficult one when most people you meet when you have an aspergers child are Doctors or professionals whom always greet with a handshake.0 -
re Christmas books - recommend Milly Johnson A Winter Flame, it's lovely and Christmassy (based around building a Christmas theme park) but as usual with her books there is lots of threads with different characters, really lovely book, can't put it down!l0

Im a rare one as I lose weight all the way through pregnancy, have done both times, and end up being about a stone lighter than when I started. Sadly I tend to put it all back on in the first few horrific weeks as I grab junk when I can rather than eat properly.
Managed to get OHs present finished yesterday as Buyagift had a 20% off code. So now he has 12 treats, one for each month. Some are big things like a day out some are smaller and simpler like a book voucher so he can choose something and then have time to read it.
Pips mum Wow, i really like your idea of the 12 treats - one for each month - a splendid way to feel xmassy all year round! lol! and how lovely for your OH to have all those lovely things to look forward to :T You've really got me thinking now........0 -
Just a quickie, as I am at work. Picked up the Dec Prima on my way in . It has a small mag called 'Magical makes for Christmas' with it. I have not opened it as I will get no work done, if I do.0

Anyone go for that radio times offer last week? I just received an email saying :
Thank you for placing your order for a Radio Times Subscription. !Unfortunately, the offer code that you have used RTE1012B – with the offer - 12 issues for £1 is reserved exclusively for recipients of a personally addressed email acquisition campaign from Radio Times0 -
they had the musical tree tin in my M&S for £5, they had about 10 of them, I bought one for my neighbour for Christmas and mentioned to the lady on the till that I'd bought at full price last week as heard they were selling out everywhere so wondered why they would put an apparantly rare item on the half price offer (I kind of assumed they knew there werent too many around so would get people into store to look for them to buy other stuff) she said they have been told these are the last stock of them they will be getting in, not sure if that's just my store or not? well worth grabbing one at £5 if you see one! another 3 had gone from the shelf when I walked back past it
wish Id seen the blue ones they did last year, they sound lovely too0 -

Haven't had it yet. Ah well, you win some you lose some I guess. Make sure you cancel the direct debit just in case.0 -

Just having a quick catch up while I try and set my photobucket up and post some pictures.
We have the second handy man of the day round to sort things out in the flat. He's turned all the electrics off, so to say this is a silent and awkward experience is an understatement! Our little flat isn't great for having strangers in to do jobs I have nowhere to hide haha!0
