Hi Keely if you search cello bags or cello wrap on eBay or amazon you will see a huge selection in all shapes and sizes. Florist wrap is equally as good for hampers.

Clayton and Own my Own am glad you got the tins, arent they lovely? mine is on the table in the dining room and I give it a quick twist every time I pass it! it did cross my mind last week wether they may put it as an offer like they did the gingerbread tins, but as were only 2 left I got one as I thought it would be typical knowing my store that they would never have any more in again if I didnt! may get another tomorrow when I pop in, DD has dentist so I may wonder in as it's nearby Really hope everyone manages to get one that wants one, I love mine ...can you tell??

So one "charity apron" will commence tomorrow for my mum

I found a small cushion in £land today saying "Dads Sofa - any change found down the bag belongs to me", musical ties and glam xmas washing up gloves - We have a tradition that part way through dinner we have a silly present exhange - only £1 or £2 presents intended to have a laugh - a bit like supersize cracker prizes.

I reallllly like the sound of this shop! I only had time to go to m&s today, they had some lovely moulds for chocolate slabs just the 7&9£ prices where not so lovely!

Over the weekend I went to a variety of shops grabbing bargains as I saw them:
Wilkinson has a Large pannetone in for £3, I also got 2 x 12 metre wrapping paper one red snowflake style and a more child friendly one for ds stocking so 24 metres for £3! And 2 packes of chocolate coins for £1!

The card factory I got a santa plush for 1.99 and they had santa keys for 99p but I have already got one for my ds xmas eve hamper

Poundland had some gorgeous vintage labels which are brown luggage style and printed on saying things like 'dont open until 25th' 20 for £1 and I thought gorgeous and match my brown paper/ red and white theme perfectly.

Ikea I grabs some kilner jars 75p, for sweet display
THE santa bags (WHICH I LOVE, and tohse of you getting them wont be disappointed)
I agree the xmas decorations seemed expensive to me but maybe that is becasue I have been spoilt with bargains all year!
BUT in the food seciton I got a box of already made gingerbread tree decorations for 75p for 10 so DS and I can decorate them and the gingerbreadhouse making set which was £2 I actually am not sure I got make them cheaper!
Then went along to costco and probably got my biggest bargin 50 metres of the most amazing wide white and red snowflake ruibbon for £5!!!!
And not so much of a bargain but got DS the christmas happyland set which he always admires in ELC which each item is going in his advent 'bags'
So that is all wrapping, ribbon, labels, advent calendars, presents sorted. I think we are there with decorations but wont be sure until the tree and all the decorations are out and I can survey what we have.
So next on the list is the food shopping I have brought all non perishable items so just need to get sorted on the meal plans for xmas week.
I am so pleased I am so organsied it also means money wise I dont feel so pressured in the next 2 months as everything is brought and paid for and the food budget for xmas is already saved so I am really pleased to have finished!

Yayy you are doing the same wrapping colours/theme as me! I saw some lovely bits in m&s today that I may get but I want to go the pound place and look for the tags you mention.
I also get my ribbon from Costco every year, I'm going to the one in Liverpool at the weekend when I go back to visit my parents!

I agree with those who say amazon and eBay. Was looking myself last night on eBay and they have various Xmas designs on rolls of cellophane which I might get!

Oo, I SO want some of the M&S tins, they'll be even better at half price! Does anyone know if they're stocked in the food halls? I've no chance of getting to a big M&S til next week, but could pop into the local food hall! Thanks

They are in the food bit of our marks, so I can't see why not.

Hi KMR1984 They are indeed. You can find them with all the seasonal stock.. mince pies, advent calendars etc

Am I right in thinking you are in Colchester? If so where is the cheap store next to M&S

Snugglebunny8 i cant wait to give mine to my parents as part of their xmas hamper. I buy them similar house gifts each year in addition to their main gifts as a thank you for having us all there at Xmas
