I got my Mums calendar today, so I only need to get my Dads cheese board and I am done. :snow_laug:snow_laug .

Got everything to make the coasters today. I won't say how much I spent, as typing it may make my cry with fear.

I am not going to start them until next weekend. I am waiting on a few bits from Ebay and am going to Lakeside/Ikea on Wednesday. If I wait till then I will have more bits and will be able to make more things.
That way while the glue is dying on the tiles I can make the bookmarks to take my mind off the tiles.:rotfl:

I have been making things all my adult life, but for some reason this is really freaking me out:eek:

Am also going to make a Bah Humbug Advent. The idea came to me in a sleepless moment last night.

I bought a square framed blackboard from the 99p shop. I am going to mask off vertical stripes and paint them white. Then I am going to glue painted mini pegs on the board and number them. Off each peg I will hang a Humbug.

:rotfl:It looks great in my head.:rotfl:

B&Q have a humbug decoration for £2 if you want help decorating the top of it or something to use to hang it up :) (on 3 for 2 too) http://www.diy.com/nav/christmas/decorations/individual-decorations/individual_decorations/-specificproducttype-other_decorations/B-and-Q-Fuchsia-Humbug-Decoration-12498915

Was in the Original Factory Shop yesterday: http://www.theoriginalfactoryshop.co.uk/

Found the cups I'd been after for ages :) £4 each -

Also got 3 (£2 each) 'Keep Calm It's Only Christmas' reusable shopping bags for my Christmas shopping :D (well. More Christmas Shopping :rotfl: )

They also had some large a3(ish) sized Christmas cardboard storage boxes with festive things on the front - fantastic for Christmas Eve Hampers.

Unfortunately however, ours had put theirs outside (!) and the snow/rain had wet practically all of them through so I didn't get any. They were £4 each too.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I'm sitting at work having major withdrawal symptoms, not being able to keep my mind focused on Christmas stuff as it has been all weekend.

Had a brief moment of excitement when I visited another dept and saw that they had some Christmas decs up.....until someone pointed out that they've been there all year because they can't be bothered taking them down and putting them back up again! I must admit I have a few decs at home which I can't bear to put away so they stay out all year but only a couple.

Each to their own and all that but I do find it a huge shame when people don't enjoy the Christmas preparation and see it as a chore.

Hello everyone... well apart from an earlier dive into M&S on way home from the doctors im feeling pretty rubbish today. So much for an early flu jab! Oh well im dosed up to the eyeballs with the heating on full blast and im going to try and find a Christmassy movie to watch to try and cheer me up. On a brighter note ive just managed to get my Dad a Belkin Ipad Case from Amazon for 24.95. They are 49.99 everywhere else! x

Hello, can someone help please? Where can I buy the plastic/celophane to go over hampers/presents, and also the plastic bags to put sweets and choccies in? Ideally don't want to end up spending loads on them.

    Thank you.

    keely.
