  • The musical rotating tree biscuit tin in M and S is half price this week (typical when I bought it last week) but hope it helps. Five pound instead of ten i bought an extra one for either side of my window.

Thank you Pinksteps I have been looking at it for ages, but couldn't justify £10 when I have other things to buy. But I can do £5 without feeling too guilty. :A

  • I'm off to aberkhan today for fabric for mums charity apron - going to buy fabric and then get pin badges/ribbons from most significant charities :)

I'm contemplating making/decorating egg cups for oh mum smas she has no egg cups. I'm stumped for ideas though other than decorating plain white ones with their names and a couple of "guest" ones? Hmmm!!

    Xx

I am a list maker by nature I think! Although they often end up looking more like Novels Lol. I must remember to mention things more often on here that I pick up for DS's hamper. I keep forgetting there are lots of other people doing elf hampers and I'm always seeing things and picking things up for 50p ish here and there!

I'll just mention why it's on my mind - I can't recommend checking out your local charity shops at this time of year enough! They often have christmas things donated from last year that they bring out.
The other day I managed to get loads of ribbon for 30p and they had an entire table of 'christmas teddies' for £1 each! All of them were in practically new condition and I managed to get DS a fairly large chocolate reindeer that still had it's tags on and it actually smells of chocolate! For £1 I was actually stunned how cheap I got it!

Sorry for your families loss kayandy.

I was in Dunelm Mill today and they have this -
    http://www.dunelm-mill.com/shop/rudolph-reindeer-275193
It was £2.99 and isn't as small as it looks, It's a medium sized one and I expected it to be a bit pricier that it was so I snapped on up to give DS with the Rudolph game from Home Bargains as its the same official character!
Just thought I'd mention it incase anyone else who got the game is in there and wants to pick one up :)

That's the Rudolph I picked up for my little one, he is so cute! Off to Marks and Spencer next week armed with my vouchers to buy things that will keep, with another trip a few days before for the fresh bits and party stuff. Thank you to the poster about the musical tin half price, fingers crossed I can pick one up. Got a store delivery to pick up there anyway but hubby is already freaking out as he knows what I am like when I enter marks and Spencer. A trip to lush is planned too. Finished my youngest now just her Christmas pJs to go. Oldest now as waiting for some good prices on her main present and a few other bits.

Also hope the lady has managed to pick up a Elc set her little one wants to go with her rosebud house. Keep thinking about you, Hope you manage to get one. Hope everyone is well and is still enjoying the festive planning and buying xx
