Not had chance to catch up or reply so quick thanks to everyone's advice for dd movie hamper, congrats to yet more new & expecting mummies! The asda advert is very upsetting as it does imply mums buy Xmas pressies, it's almost up there with last years little woods ad (who put an Xbox under the tree) as top "how to ruin the magic of christmas" ad of the year!
Off to Colchester tomorrow (we're holidaying ab 12 miles away) and just found out there's a lush! I promise to try not to blow rest of my holiday money, but I so hope they're Xmas range is in! And finally does anyone know official date for first cola ad?
Can I apologise in advance for Lush Colchester tomorrow we move to our new store and Friday so we are all very excited! Whereabouts are you holiday can I ask? Shame I'm not working tomorrow or else I could have met you!
Also Christmas is in but not the Christmas tins yet we are expecting them in November!0 -

We're in st osyth. Ur so lucky to work at lush! No apologies needed I'm sure, as long as I can get some Xmas smellies I will be on cloud 9 myself :rudolf:It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -

(((HUGS))) to all of you who need some. I hope despite your sadness and loss, you still manage to enjoy the festivities, those missing will be there in your hearts.
Regarding the Asda ads - I suppose it depends on what children believe. As kids we were told, mum bought all the pressies and sent them to Santa for him to wrap and look after (so if we were naughty, he'd give them to some other child) and that our stockings came from Santa. Presents from grandma, aunties etc. well, Santa told them what to buy us from our lists.
Also as we had a gas fire, a little elf snook through the letterbox to find the back door key.
DH's mum told them Santa bought them one pressie each (labelled from Santa) and she bought the rest as Santa was too busy to shop for every pressie for every child in the world.
Thanks to last years little woods ad we had to change our story, we used to tell kids Santa brought all presents, but had to change and say we have to help out & buy a few cos santas too busy. Must admit it makes shopping easier as if they do spot something we put in trolley we tell them it's to send to Santa. But I think these sort of ads really take away some of the magic, dd5 is a clever little thing & is already pointing out flaws in the whole Santa thing! It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -

Where's the New Store ? Is it bigger than the one your in now ?0 -
To all the new mums out there, can I adopt your little bundles please? I am on a mega diet and have lost 1 1/2 stone so far, which I realised to my horror is the equivalent of 3 newborn 7 lbs bubs, or more if smaller  Had set myself a target of 2 stone for Christmas, so ahead, which can only mean end result is quicker.
Anyway, more to lose, so those that are still cooking have nothing to worry about yet:DA smile costs little but creates much0 -
