  • Not sure if anybody has posted about this but Sainsburys Toy Sale starts tomorrow morning. Upto 50% off this year though, so not as good as previous years. Heard its going to be either 1/3rd, 25% or 50%.

What is it with these Christmas online shops.

Both B&Q and Asda are driving me mad. I just want to browse. I don't want to pick a theme, a colour, a price range. I just want to see what they have.

You look at something, then have to go back to the home page and start again:mad:

I know it may help some people, but I want an opt out button.

Own my own completely agree my theme at home isn't any of the suggested ones and I love bits and pieces from all their ranges! I think I'll wait to order but things I love are the mitten garland, the twig and berry napkin holders and the wooden advent reindeer

I have some black baubles - but I really don't like them and they don't go with my theme. I was thinking - do you think I could spray them white? Do you think I'd need a primer as well as spray paint? What sort of paint? Craft? Car paint? Anyone ever sprayed their baubles? (They are just normal plasticy ones).
  • Does anyone know the name of this film?
I saw it once on a true movies type of channel and its about a woman who i think takes on her sisters children and then loses her house but finds a caravan or something and she has to have running water and electricity by a time on christmas eve and the whole community comes together to help her otherwise she doesn't get to keep the children.
It wasnt a particularly brilliant film, but i loved the sentiment behind it and would love to watch it again.
So if anyone knows could you tell me :)

Apologies if it's already been answered.

Is it Home for the holidays (the 2005 made for tv one)
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0475969/

I think it might be the one I've put the link in for. I've definitely seen the one that you're asking about and I'm sure it did have a social worker in who was trying to be helpful which is what the synopsis in the link alludes to.

I seem to think that they literally moved a house onto another plot of land but had to get electric and water.

I sprayed my whole house black and white (Well nearly:rotfl:)

I use plasti-kote projekt paint in matt. The gloss is less forgiving.
You don't need any primer. Do it outside and thinly. Just keep going over it until it is the shade you want.

If I see an ornament I like, but it is the wrong colour, I buy it and spray it.:D
