I really do have a sieve for a memory, although it was about 100 pages ago.

Someone was looking for gifts for gardeners for under £10

Well I found these calendars with diary £3 each or 3 for £6

    The whole calendar collection -

I bought the gardening tips calendar yesterday. It looks really nice and I've had calendars from that range before - they are made of good quality paper etc. :)

I might take a look at Sainsbury's later, but it'll have to be early afternoon. About to head off to a job interview. Rather nervous, to say the least lol. Eck.

Marliesmummy how big are the bags? I'm thinking of little bits I could fill them with for ds now I have to convince dh to drive me to Croydon lol

I work 5 mins from there and plan to nip in, so if hubs isn't easily convinced, let me know and I will pick some up for you.
A smile costs little but creates much :)

I am starting to think I should have kept the bags a secret, until I had mine.
I have a fear now, that they are going to sell out before I get there. And I will be the only one on here not to have any.

PLEASE don't buy ALL of them .:rotfl:

Thank you, looks good, will have to see if they do it on kindle. My girls share a room so with lack of space and my daughter love of books started to develop we had to buy her one. however my youngest ain't far off neither but at 4 years old will have to sort through hers and ones she had outgrown give to charity to make room for christmas.

Played a blinder on hubby this morning, he took the kids to school and I had put christmas CDs in our car c.d player, it's a 6 disc one so you just select which one. I put Michael buble at Christmas first one, then rocking christmas on second ha ha, he came back and said oh you think it's funny that not just have I got to fight through the Christmas stash that hidden all round the house, you also got me buying christmas bits when I go out to shops, I now have to listen to christmas music in the car. He needs some more work on him but I am Excited for christmas NOW.

Does anyone have a link if online for the days for when the Christmas coke lorry is travelling around. My kids can't stop talking about the big red lorry ha ha.

well busy at the moment getting the house ready for christmas, unfortunately we have had to decorate our house again as all our paintwork turned yellow ( dulux products turning yellow has been known problem, thousands of people were affected) was on watchdog not so long back but we have had vouchers in compensation but we have had to go through it all again, but should be finished by Friday. Then bathroom furniture to be fitted, plus my new American fridge freezer should be delivered within next few days, told hubby once its all done, house is ready then for me to go mad with christmas decs, got lots of links saved to my I pad home screen. Thank you all for your wonderful ideas.

My heart goes out to everyone who will find christmas hard this year. It's not the easiest times for some. As most of you know my hubby has just come back from Afghanistan and we had his medal parade week before last and all i can think about is the three families who lost three soldiers from my hubby's unit. We were at the service in the morning and right in front of me were the families of the lost soldiers, I watched a wife and two children walk up to the square in bits and lay wreaths down. The look on her face is something I will never ever forget. It could of easily be me and my children going through that. It's Puts everything into perspective. Little arguments and petty things we find ourselves involved with, it's not important, we are all fighting a battle, we all have worries and stress, we should be supporting one another and this is why I love this thread it's lovely, people so kind and caring and it's what matters, going to miss it once christmas as come and gone x

What lovely words and so true I guess when things like that happen it really does put things into perspective . Had a few tears when I read your post poor lady and her children but like you say it really makes us appreciate what we have .
Ps very jealous of the sound of your new American style fridge/freezer think of all the christmas goodies you can cram in :)
