Good evening fellow Christmas lovers!!! Haven't had chance to catch up yet today but I just thought I'd pop on and let everyone know I had my 20 week scan today and I'm having a little boy (possibly not the most exciting thing you've read today but as the last 8 babies born in my family have been girls this is a big bit of news for my family!) Right off I go to catch up......

Oh Bless Him. I feel for you already. My ds was the only grandson (9 grandaughters) for 17 years. Every time someone had a baby girl he would get deflated. By the time my sister had her boy he didn't care anymore.

I feel for you as every time you try to tell him off everyone will say 'Leave him alone, he's just being a boy'

He may have been lonely but he got away with murder. It was alright for them, they didn't have to live with their 'Little Angel Boy'

Hi all, dont post often but do love reading what everyone else is up to. Just to let everyone know baby Oscar is now home and doing very well.
I managed to pick up a couple of stocking fillers for my daughter at the weekend :xmassmile
We have been forecast some wintery showers for the weekend so Christmas really is on the way.:snow_laug
Dont know who posted the pic of the onesie in Tesco but in my store they also had them in white and red, looked very festive.
And to all you pistachio lovers found these on the Tesco website http://www.tesco.com/groceries/product/search/default.aspx?searchBox=pistachio%20ice%20cream
Never tried it myself but they seem to sell quite a few different ones. Not sure if the link is working but just put pistachio icecream in the search box and quite a few come up X

Hugs for those that are having a tough time at the moment, I hope things pick up, or you at least find a way through. I lost my grandma last year at christmas and as hard as it'll be without her (she was a major part of my life growing up) I am looking forward to doing things to keep her memory alive.

(((hugs))) i woke up on xmas day last year to the news that my nana had died it was my worst xmas yet! spent all day putting on a brave face for the kids when inside i just wanted to crumble

Forgot to show you these foam shapes. They're £1 in Tescos. I found them with the kids art stuff, not the Christmas stuff. Thought they would be great for the labels on Reindeer Poop etc.

*hugs* I can't begin to imagine how that felt... I hope you have a happier Christmas this year, although your nana will obviously be on your mind. Hopefully you can celebrate her life as part of Christmas, rather than feeling sad. :o

My post feels unfitting after that. :/

I've just done a bit more shopping. Using the Superdrug online 15% off and the 3 for 2 [which works out slightly better than if I buy it in store, as my staff discount is 10%], I've finished off another 3 people. I want to get some Christmas confectionery for my close family [something I always do] and I still need to get something 'big' for my Dad's present, but that is all now. Nearly done. :)
