I am very sorry to hear of your loss. We posted at the same time, and now I feel my foam shapes are rather inappropriate.:o
I hope this Christmas is better. It is very hard when someones dies on a Special Day.
My dd and niece shared a birthday. Sadly my niece died when she was 6. It was so hard for everyone the following year, when we celebrated dds birthday, knowing it should have been a shared day.:(0 -

I didn't get one as there is nowhere to keep sweets or toffees in it. When you take the top off everything would fall out. I wanted to be able to use it again as storage.

My dd is known as Calamity Jane in our family. It wouldn't last 5 minutes if she had to pick it up to use it :rotfl:0 -
Sending lots of positive thoughts to those that need them especially those who are not having an easy time of it or Christmas can be a difficult time of year for.
Can anyone help? My niece has asked for the gross science set or something equally gross, horrible and gruesome! There are quite a few around and I want to get her a good one, has anyone bought/tried them? Any that you can recommend or is the "Gross Science" set that's currently advertised on TV the better one? Any help appreciated!
....oh with regards to the Asda ad has anyone actually found out what is said as I also took it that it was basically Mums who do it all and was quite miffed when I saw it, just want to be on my guard if the kids say anything!~ What's for you, won't go past you! ~0 -

Also sympathise with difficult first christmas's, hope you all have loving support from your family which should help ease the pain, if only a little.

Good evening fellow Christmas lovers!!! Haven't had chance to catch up yet today but I just thought I'd pop on and let everyone know I had my 20 week scan today and I'm having a little boy (possibly not the most exciting thing you've read today but as the last 8 babies born in my family have been girls this is a big bit of news for my family!) Right off I go to catch up......

My post feels unfitting after that.
