    Xmas Saver!
Oooooh I forgot to mention, DS sort of found my present stash - well he caught a glimpse of stuff up at the top of my wardrobe so I said to DH they need to be wrapped so that little eyes don't wander. So I bought some brown paper and I'm going to stamp it - or let the kids do it!

I don't know how old your children are. But I take it, the paper THEY stamp is not being used by Santa. Could be a bit hard to explain on the day.

    argh! my worst nightmare!

i have now been given the task of getting the kids presents off the inlaws :T
unfortunatley dh and fil spoke about this and all i could hear was dh saying
'she'll get it cheaper than that, you'll have change! yeah and his xmas present too'
i asked what he was talking about after he finished on the fone and was told i am being given £150 tomorow to get my 3 kids presents plus ds1's birthday present and the fil has challenged me to give change and get good presents!

    fair enough, so spent the afternoon picking pressies;
ds1- wwe rumblers ring and 2 x extra figures packs
dd - barbie princess and popstar horse and carriage
ds2 - little people pirate boat
ds1 birthday - imaginext gotham city jail.

rang up and mil answered and told her that i had got them all for £110. only to be told
'dont be stupid! you'll spend the full £150 on them!'

so ive got another £40 or £70 to spend on them as not sure if the £150 mil is talking about includes the money for ds1's birthday or not!

we have politley told the husbands to keep their noses out of our christmas shopping  and leave upto us as normal!

so now gotta wait until tomorrow, i will still get the gifts above and then reevaluate whats left!

my only problem is, the extra packs of wrestlers are OOS in my nearest 10 argos stores (where they are reduced to £3 each):mad::mad::mad:
found them in smyths for £6 each, but will cost another £6 to get there as they dont have delivery on them!:mad::mad:
and at toys rus which i can get a bus and a walk to they are selling them at £8 :mad::mad::mad:

anyone seen them cheaper? its the 2 pack of wwe rumblers!

thanks for your suggestion, i did actually consider this but my mum says he doesnt want anything sticking on the walls (tried some in one of the other rooms and they ripped the paint off when he removed them!)
so it has to be prints - possibly framed if cheap enough???
    or maybe canvas???

budget at a max is £20

also if you type pink floyd poster into ebay you get hundreds come up...maybe a local framing shop wouldnt be too expensive..or maybe a market stall? the posters on ebay were only a few pounds and you would never notice once they are framed

Re the ASDA ad, I think they've quite carefully chosen to say 'those little bonus presents' to avoid the whole Father Christmas/main presents issue being ruined.

Evidently it hasn't really worked though!

No it isn't that advert we're talking about.
    There are two.
There's the 'little bonus presents' one - Which is fine.
But there is also an advert about the asda toy sale where a mum is stuffing children's presents into a cupboard to hide them..

Perhaps you haven't seen it but it really is rather inappropriate
    Having a coke with you
is even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona

If you go to the more buying choices the WWE Rumblers CM Punk and John Cena Figure 2-Pack is on at £6.75 with free delivery. does that help at all?
