Opee such great news. I have one of each and of course have no favourites cos that would be very unfair of me. But there is something very special between a Mum and her boy ( even if he's 29) And the teenage years were much easier with him than with my DD !

WBDF what very sad news. Such a waste of a young life. My thoughts are with you. Cancer :(
I too keep checking to see if the Coke Cola truck is doing its rounds this year, I would love to see it:)

Carlamarie keep up the good work, feet up look after that bubba (and of course yourself) The same thing happened last year with "picking up" presents for our darling VDGDs. It made me cross! I'd done purposely to avoid last minute dashing round only to end up doing it for other family members! Note to self: remind them in time this year!!! I'm so sorry you lost your Nan on such a hard day:( I have some of my wonderful Nanas Christmas decorations so she's around every Christmas. In fact she around everyday. I have such really lovely memories of her and strive daily to be the Nana she was to me to my VDGDs ( I won't make it but I will have a good go)

Welcome newbies and delurkers apologies but by the time I catch up with the pages I forget your names!

Chirpy your traditions will take care of themselves :) Imagine the lights on your tree twinkling, festive candles lit, warm snugly house, treats in a festive bowl, a nice cup of hot chocolate, DH and cuddles with Levan :)
    Hang on I'm jealous now!
    The secret of Christmas
It's not the things you do at Christmastime
But the Christmas things you do
    All year through

  • Loving all you're fab messages x love and condolences to those facing an emotional Christmas, I know how difficult our first Christmas without my mum and grandad was, and that was 9 months before the festive season, i cant even begin to imagine how difficult the season must be for those of you whom have lost loved ones at Christmas time.
To all you lovely ladies with child - i am not jealous at all!! DH and I have been trying for about a year, tho we only got married in July and as yet no baby, but MIL and FIL tried for 3 years after getting married before having DH, and i have PCOS, but we are very happy in married life, a little one of our own would be the icing on our wedded bliss cake :) we have two DN's who i adore, a 2 year old and his little 3 month old brother ( born the day before our wedding :) ) SIL says we just need to have a wee girl and we'll be sorted!! hehehe.
NOW!! On a more Christmassy note, Boots have turkey, bacon & cranberry sauce sandwhiches :) yes i got one and yes it was DE-LISH!! Well, bed time for me, night all x x x

To everyone who has lost somebody my thoughts are with you

Well I've not been feeling very xmasy recently!! My bf's uncle has terminal cancer && is very poorly In hospital they are giving him a drip tomorrow as he feels like he can't go on so he won't be here with us after this week which is horrible!! The whole of bf's family is in bits including myself!! We are also waiting for bf's mum to have another scan to see if the cancer she had removed had come back!! (Leg && lung)!! Tbh this year has been the worse year of my life especially for bf && his family as we found out his uncle had cancer in jan then we found out his mum had it in March then his aunt died in April my dad tried to hurt himself in may && now this tbh I can't wait for this year to be over!! I think my Xmas planning won't go anywhere for a few weeks now!!

Sorry for the depressing post just needed to get it off my chest :)

I've got 4 pages to catch up on but thought I would post this quick. For those of you who shop at Mr T if you have any used clubcard vouchers - the ones you get sent every quarter, Morrisons are accepting them in payment, even if you have used them i.e converted them to deals. I had £10 on my notice board that I had used a while ago for a magazine subscription but Morrisons took them no problem. You can only use one voucher per transaction but my store had no problem in me splitting my shopping up - I used a £5.00 then a £4.50 and then a £1. Stocked up on stuff for my Christmas cupboard. £10 is £10 when it comes to free food :) Only some stores are participating but I do have a list if anyone is interested.
Hi Ellie please could I have the list of participating stores? :)

Don't know if this is helpful or not - but Superdrug online has free delivery until tomorrow, and they have 10 candy canes for £1. (7.5% cashback on quidco).
