  • In abit of a rubbish mood today, after finally getting rid of my throat infection, I now have yet another cold!
Im defo having an early night & then cheering myself up by watching Love Actually tomorrow which I managed to find on a random channel in the week & recorded (will look to see if its on again)
Still another 12 days til I get paid too, so feeling very grumpy that I cant go and get any little bits!! Might go the pound shop & wilkos next week though to have a look at what theyve got in.
Anyways moan over, cheery post tomorrow I PROMISE!! :)
  • And obviously Im dozy cos I posted before I picked up the remote to check for the film!
Love Actually is repeated on Sat at 10pm on Universal channel 113 or plus one at 11pm on channel 150.
    Laters xx

two years ago I had the 'brilliant' idea of making an advent box for the boys. Not only did I make/buy 24 things I also decided to make them Christmas related. Now they expect one every year:eek:
I have got some great ideas from this thread and must write my list down (at the moment it is still in my head)

For anyone who does Snowman Soup, I just came across these

morning all! Just before I catch up, found the following offers this morning in S'Burys

Afte Eight mints £ 1.50 a box (half price)
Ferrero Rocher £3 a box (£1 off - though I think they may be on same off in M T)
Cadburys Festive Friends boxes are now £1 (same as elsewhere)

found a new Christmas book for £3.49, Sarah Morgan 'Once Upon a Christmas'

for all those who mentioned it, the Betty Crocker tubs of dark chocolate fudge frosting are 25% off (will check receipt but £1.62 I think) they also have the other BC frostings and tubs 25% off and the mixes etc, grabbed the dark chocolate one as last year had it on the same offer, they all shot off the shelves and the offer ended within a week last time. Use by is 2014 some time, I used it last year to covr the cake we made, this year DS is going to use it for decorating yule logs

I havn't caught up yet so not sure if other people have commented but the Betty Crocker fudge frosting and others were all £1.50 in morrisons last night. All of the cake ranges were £1.50 too and they weren't even on offer. Going to go back and stock up for chrsitmas.

Thinking of getting my dad some liquorice themed gifts and I cant give him other flavors besides the traditional black liquorice as he hates them. Does anyone have any ideas.

Sainsburys has loads of different types of liquorice sweets.

Ouzo is also very liquorice tasting.

    What about liquorice sticks?
