    Hi Guys,

Sent OH into Home bargains in Middleton, North manchester today, and got 12 candy canes for 79p, and I can indeed confirm they are the mint ones and blooming nice! Also have bath scrunchies (our team branded) for 10p, and wash bags/shower caps/exfolation gloves in polka dot for 39p a pop, in matching colours.

    HTH :)

DFS didn't get it either when I told him. It was the first thing that came into my mind.

Edit - Just realised that me knowing about Coldchester means maybe I watch it too often.

Omg I get you after being told! That's a brilliant little idea, I love it!

  • Morning fellow christmas lovers :D. My marathon christmas film watching /writing Xmas cards/wrapping day has kind of gone t**s up :(. Got woken up by new neighbours who are redoing the garden using a JCB . 6.30 am !!!! OH invited family over today too so am now having to do a manic house clean . I have put the films to record though :( . As I've mentioned before I live in a tiny cottage in Devon and our garden is very country cottage type thing the neighbours are fitting electric gates and digging up all the lovely cherry trees which have been there for over 70 years ( my cottage used to belong to my grandad and he planted them as a child with my great granny ) the garden used to be shared between both cottages and now there s a fence down the middle . I'm dreading they are just going to spoil the lovely old fashioned look but there's nothing we can do as its not our half : ( . At least I get to keep the three cherry trees that remain on our side :). Hope you all have a lovely day :rudolf:
  • It looks so sad seeing the cherry trees lying on the floor next door : ( .

Have they been dug up with the JCB? Are the roots intact? Could you replant them in your garden? x

My sky box has decided it's too early to watch Christmas films. (I usually start watching them from Dec 1st). I've just tried True Movies 1 and it's coming up with the message no signal being received - sob.

Been reading this thread for a few weeks now, and i love it! :D
Not as organised as some of u fab people but I'm getting there slowly.
Went in primark (Hanley) yesterday, no boys Xmas pj's but did see the storage boxes that has been mentioned. They look fab and will definately be getting a couple. They also had some lovely traditional Santa wrapping paper think it was 8m for £1.
Also on my to do list is the werthers Toffee vodka as that looks gorgeous and will be a fab present for my friends.
