here is what they say about use by dates/freshness;
Guaranteed freshness
We guarantee freshness on all orders, so you'll enjoy the same standard of quality whenever you collect from us. All products ordered for Christmas has a guaranteed date for a minumum of 26th December. For products ordered for New Year, these have a guaranteed date for a minimum of 1st January.
I do always get a little frustrated with them in store as I always buy my Christmas stuff there and even on 23rd I will find 'use by 24th' or 25th, so then have to go back again on 24th for one with 26th use by etc, which I REALLY don't like doing!sometimes you are lucky if you move everything and go right to the back you might get better UBDs, but not easy when it's crowded!
Thank you! I couldn't find that bit, I too find the problem with dates in M&S as we get quite a bit of their party food instore when they do the 4 for 3 etc., and it's frustrating when two of the items are ok in date but you can't get the right date for the other two items you want.
I'm trying to decide what date for collection to go with so we can pick up our party food at the same time as the food to order! Hoping the food is good as normally I cook our Christmas dinner from scratch but for the first time ever it's only four of us and our parents going to our siblings we thought we'd do it this way so I can spend extra time with the kids instead of at a cooker! Next year I'm back to the cooker - boo!
Code is FOODS305 £5 off a £30 spend! No idea if it works but it's advertised in their Christmas food to order brochure, you automatically get the email voucher for a £60 spend so it's not a case of one voucher or the other! Hope it's ok that I've put the code on this thread as I know there are certain rules about codes etc., but not sure if it applies to this board!~ What's for you, won't go past you! ~0 -

. I've got 7 free cinema tickets as I saved the codes of the chocolate packets so I'm waiting to see what this year's Christmas movie is
Nativity 2 is out late Nov, 90 minutes of David Tennant??? ooh yes please! Our elves are gonna arrive on 1st dec with tickets to go & see him (sorry, i mean the film!). cant wait... kids enjoyed the first nativity so THEY WILL enjoy this one, possibly so much I (i mean WE) may have to see it a couple of times :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:It's not about getting what you want, It's about wanting what you get.0 -

This is what we're doing with the kids but I didn't think you could obtain the tickets until you get there and collect them! Was going to write something up instead, only thing is this damn elf is getting the credit for everything I'm organising along with flipping Santa!~ What's for you, won't go past you! ~0 -
Ive got a few pages to catch up on. Hello newbies as well!
Like a few people on here I did the wilko run on monday to get the catalogue. I think they thought I was some loon when I was marching around the shop looking for the display of catalogues. The they said it was being moved back booo.
Went to next yesterday to collect my stag card holder that matched my fur tree. I also got the mulled wine dispenser but Im going to be putting christmas cosmopolitans in for xmas day.
I finished its my last day of work today as we are doing our foster training soon so its a relief to be able to concentrate on xmas and finishing the decorating. OH is on holiday today for 2 weeks so we can finally get some bits and bobs done. He got given his holidays for next year and he is off 2 weeks august and 2 weeks over the xmas so Im over the moon. He always works around the school holidays so its good we can spend time together.PPI Claims won £3000:j now free of all credit card debt after 10 years.
Will I win my Lloyds battle!!!:mad:
Currently saving for our wedding and what seems like a million other things":)0 -

It was such hard work you know - the things we do for our childrenI used to wait until the pouches were on offer for £1 and then buy them but when they sent the cinema ticket they also sent a money off voucher for 75p so worked out quite well. I'd spend £4.00 to get one cinema ticket - considering a cinema ticket here is £8.60 - saved quite a bit and got chocolate to eat which is never a bad thing
