  • The postage is £2.50 but if you search 'christmas' and then refine it to the stock available online theres lots of cheap christmassy dvds/cds to make the delivery charge more worthwhile. I ordered 11 dvds a few weeks ago for a total of £10.75 delivered! They did post each one in a seperate padded envelope though, that was a load of parcels!! :eek: Im sure I read on here though that you can answer most of the questions without having seen the film?

    I have added 9 dvd's I've wanted to basket and including delivery it only comes to £8.75! So less than a pound each really. Which is great and much cheaper than me getting them separately on amazon like I was going to! Just need to check the bank before I pay for them though, I did the shopping today and haven't even looked at the statement for the past two weeks so for all I know I may well have 1p to my name :rotfl:
    My 17 year old daughter still has three Furbies that sit on her windowsill. I amuse myself sometimes by setting them all off to talk to each other while I am changing the beds.:rotfl:

    :rotfl::rotfl:
    I had two as a child, They were the twin ones you could buy in a double pack. Everyone was very jealous of me :D Best part about it was my mum got them for me for free in a competition! Very mse! ;)

    I forgot to mention earlier today as well, I don't know if anyone has noticed them yet but in tesco, in the christmas food isle they have a bag of christmas marshmellows. Without looking up close you can't tell but they are actually shaped like snowmen and reindeer and christmas trees and although they are not 'mini' they are certainly not as big as a regular marsh mellow either, About the size of 10p i'd say.
    Thought i'd mention it as they might be perfect for snowman soup etc ?
    They were 50p for a fairly decent sized bag.
    HTH someone :)
    Having a coke with you
    is even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
    or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona

    I remember last year I was trying to put one up on the stage when my son was having a dance lesson. It was hooked inside and when I jiggled it , it fell around me and I was trapped inside. My son and his dance teacher thought it was so funny they got the young male totty from the yacht club next door to come in and have a giggle. About seven of them and nobody helped!
    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Sorry. :o

    I NEED a christmas jumper from Primark! And a reindeer blanket and Rudolph scene it...I wasnt swayed by the Rudolph monopoly cos I couldnt justify £20 when we have 2 types of monopoly already lol but I NEEEEED everything else. :D

  • Phew! Just caught up! I don't get to post on here very often as every time I log on I have to catch up by about 10 pages! :rotfl:

    There was loads I wanted to comment on but it's all got a bit much now! Good luck and best wishes to all the mums-to-be and mums-that-might-already-be - we shall wait to hear! Welcome newbies and lurkers, and well done to everyone on all bargains! Also thanks to those of you who gave me ideas for the golf boxers, I shall check out TKMax and Next. :)

    The only Christmas shopping i've managed this week is a book and dvd for my OH. I have a massive long list typed out all ready to be bought, i'm itching to get out and buy it all but I just haven't had the time! I'm going to pop to Poundland at lunchtime today to make a start. I found this on Amazon that I really want to buy for my OH as we've just bought a home together:

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gifts-Men-leads-screws-pointless/dp/B004T8MVME

    But it got me thinking that this might be a good present for any men that are hard to buy for? You could fill it with chocs and things for Christmas. Just an idea if anyone is stuck.

    I'm getting excited as i'm going home to my parents in a couple of weeks and they have a Home Bargains so i'm setting some time aside to go in there! I'm also visiting my auntie in Sheffield at the start of November and i'm hoping they have B&M's (is that what you call it?) or similar! :T

    Xmas Saver!

    No, it is not bad at all. Will explain later what it is when I get back from work. (Unless anyone beats me to it).

    Found this late last night, and am definitely going to print some off for my vodka.

    Also read that for Blackjack Vodka, you should save the blackjack wrappers and stick them all over the vodka bottle.
