Woohoo! :j I don't really know what the stores are like but after all the chatter on here i'm desperate to go to one! :rotfl:Thank you for letting me know.
Well I popped to Poundland at lunch even though it started raining as soon as I left the office - I wasn't going to let a bit of rain get in the way of me and Christmas shopping! I was a bit disappointed as they didn't have loads out but I managed to get a few foodie bits for people: Toblerone for my dad, drumstick lollies for my OH's stocking, ground coffee for my coffee mad friend which I will put in a Christmas mug (the coffee, not my friend! :rotfl:), Haribo sweets for a film hamper and some novelty rubber gloves as one of the gifts for my pass the parcel game i'm doing for my annual dinner party.
I quickly popped into M&S and had a look at some of their Christmas range, lovely but some bits were quite pricey.
I'm just excited now to get to Asda tonight! :T0 -

on the subject of our little feathered friend the turkey....where do people get theres from.
I had spoke to a local farmer at a market a while a go and he quoted me £120 for a turkey (free range, kelly bronze) which for 2 adults and 1 child seemed crazy  so last year we ended up with a large crown from Iceland for approx £14?? which was more than enough. My mam got a small crown preorder in morrisons for silly money and it wasn't worth the money at all. This year we have 4 adults and 1 child so Im not sure what to do.
I also do an xmas ham either cooked in gingerbeer or cherry coke which is always yummy. Sounds odd but its gorgeous!PPI Claims won £3000:j now free of all credit card debt after 10 years.
Will I win my Lloyds battle!!!
Currently saving for our wedding and what seems like a million other things":)0 -
