My elf arrived this morning :j:j He has come from America so thought it would take ages but its only been 8-9 days. I used the £5 ebay code that someone here mentioned (I did thank at the time) Gonna start putting bits in the 'elf box' now ready for the mischief and mayhem :D

  • Yankee tarts arrived today and i also managed to get some things wrapped this morn and bought DS Mario Racing (actual cars not video game). Thought it would be something 'silly' we could both do, especially as he will be out of action walking come January.

I know someone (a million pages back!) was looking for toffee bonbons - I've seen them both in The Range (with the other chocolate things they have by the tills) and in the 99p shop if that helps? (or you may have got them already!)

Still no sign of the mythical haribo tin in my local Tesco though :(

:j Just ordered my own Christmas Present at HMV. Found it on a thread on here. Now I have just got to hope they honor it.

If they do I have got a 8'9 Samsung 16gb Galaxy 3g/WiFi Tab for £149

  • For those who order Xmas food from M&S their food ordering brochure comes out on 16 October 2012.

Thanks for this - I looked in store a few days ago as I thought it must be around the corner.

Can't wait to start drooling over this Years offerings. I have been saving M&S gift vouchers so have £120 to spend on Christmas food. Looking for a nice turkey crown and leg of ham plus veggies, trimmings and a pudding :)

Does anyone do NORAD on Christmas Eve? We found this years ago and it's the highlight of my girls Xmas Eve. Every 30 mins they check to see where in the world Santa is :D

    *tries again* stupid error messages!!

Yes we love this too, it's one of our highlights! when the kids were small they would race to get ready for bed as soon as he got anywhere near Europe :D

We always have it up on the pc even though they are older now, 12 and 15, but we all think it's so magical. I take a screenshot of where he is when I go to bed each year and keep it :o ... am I the only one who feels sad on Christmas morning when it says he's all finished for this year?? :o:D

Oh I love their Christmas magazine with all the food in too! :D I do the same as you and save vouchers all year to buy my food there, I get their turkey crown, it's always delicious and usually enough left to do a 2nd roast dinner the day after Boxing day - I also love their stuffing and their gravy, the one with sherry and dates in and I add my own stock and brandy :D, try as I may I can never make gravy from scratch anything like as good!

We love NORAD in our house as well, I get really excited on Xmas Eve morning when I get up and then I check it more than the kids - I think that is a little sad, mine also both get into bed as soon as he approaches Europe, its the best at getting kids to bed on Xmas Eve.

DD1 has started questioning the practicalities of Santa and the Elves, and is teetering on the brink of not believing, with the help of some older kids at school, I am so hoping for at the very least this Xmas when she truely believes. Also have DD2 so no worries there, she believes anything I tell her!
