Hi, can I please join in? I've lurked since the thread started, but I'm now getting more organised and can't wait for Christmas. After reading the last 20 pages or so, I have been inspired x

I have 3 kids, I try and make it as magical as possible for them.we have an Elf ( well 3 now) who arrive on Nov 30th with advent calanders, a letter from Santa and loads of crafts for the kids to do during Dec.

They love PNP and NORAD too. I just can't wait. :snow_laug:snow_laug:snow_laug

So far I have most of DS- it's mostly Ben 10 and Avengers stuff. I've got everything either cheaply or on offer through the year.

I have just stocking fillers for DD1 and DD2 as the wee one is getting a play kitchen, but we have no where to hide it just now.

    Welcome nic2075,

Of course you can join:snow_laug . There is no need to ask.

Anyone bought the new Cath Kidston MYO Christmas Decorations book? Mine arrived today and the jury is still out. I am quite crafty but was looking for new ideas - this doesn't really fulfill my needs.

Is anyone else finding that the earlier you start Christmas planning the more stuff you buy for everyone? I think I'd be more MSE if I didn't start until December, but there's no fun in that! :xmastree:

Oh Absolutely . I have finished DD a least 3 times.
I then have to find Ds something as we open presents in turns, so I like to get them the same number.

But then, I have managed to get everything in the sales. So if I did it all in December, it would cost me a lot more for a lot less gifts.

I want to buy some nice, traditional pyjamas for my grandsons, aged 1 and 3. Maybe red tartan wincy ones but I can't see anything reasonable. Keep looking in Primark but they don't have Christmas ones in yet, just the ones they have had for ages.
  • Thanks for this - I looked in store a few days ago as I thought it must be around the corner.

Can't wait to start drooling over this Years offerings. I have been saving M&S gift vouchers so have £120 to spend on Christmas food. Looking for a nice turkey crown and leg of ham plus veggies, trimmings and a pudding :)

I went in today - and there it was. Free wine or choccies if you order over £60 by 11 November or free Cava or choccies if you spend over £100. Will be placing my order tonight :j
