Oops, my post is in the middle of yours Damzel! That'll teach me for not writing out of the quote marks!
Thanks snugglebunny and ellie9ellie for the magazine heads up! I'm definitely going to buy one. I still have a couple from last year that I like to get out now and again.0 -
I am joining. I am joining. me too. me too. OH thinks I am mad for getting excited about xmas now. But I love planning and buying gifts etc. Does anyone know where i can get some scandinavian paper angels like on link below here in the uk? I really really want to get these.:)

Oh no noodles! I can completely understand why you need to vent. Because it's not really affecting your landlord she can be quite blase about it, without thinking of how it impacts you. And of course you want it out of the way well before the baby comes! I hope it gets sorted for you really soon. Have a cup of tea and a few big breaths!0

That's really rubbish Noodles. Can you remind your LL of your due date and the fact the baby might come early?0

Ah I also forgot to mention that the landlord is a family members partner so knows exactly when I'm due! LOL after this I said only the other day to hubby that I am NEVER using family or friends for anything! Renting off someone you know is a nightmare! Though we shall have hopefully a deposit for our own house come Jan or latest Feb!
On a brighter note, my Santa comes to....Coventry book has just arrived for dd's xmas eve hamper and it is so lovely and has cheered me up a little! I know dd will love it! Got it from Sainsburys online for £3.99. Also my xmas smelling yankee candles, I got xmas cookie, xmas cupcake, cherries on snow & red velvet so will now decide which one to burn to uplift my mood:rotfl:Spreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:0 -
hey noodles,
how annoying for you. really sorry. Your landlady should offer compensation for delays, uninhabitable kitchens etc. Might make your rent cheaper and help with xmas / baby costs. Good luck.0 -
OMG Noodles - I don't envy you that one. I would mention to yr LL that you are 6 weeks away and if you go into labour early having builders around might be a little unsafe - hope you get it sorted hun.0

I love reading this thread because who doesn't love all things Christmas
Any luck with Cardiff Primark? I'm trying to decide whether to go to Cardiff with my Mami and visit St Fagans and make a day of it... If Primark is well stocked, I'll maybe head down next week - 3 hour round trip!0 -

My BIL rents out to his SIL - not a good idea and he wishes he had never got involved!!!
On a happier note where did you get your candles from - I'd love some Christmas smelling candles x0 -
Poor you noodle :grouphug:I know exactly how you feel as we have had non stop similar issues since we moved from our own home into rented in Feb when I was 32 weeks pregnant and it has been ongoing with a baby too. :mad:to the inconsiderate ones.
I do find cake helps calm the nerves. Hope it is fixed soon, x
