Great website, but can't help but think about how uncomfortable this sofa must be :rotfl:

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks now I am coughing :rotfl:
  • Whoops sorry! :o

Am very pleased - just reserved the last one of those v-tech phones! I shall collect tomo! Also it's very close to a 99p store so I can hunt out some stocking filler bargains hopefully.

Welcome newbies and delurkers I love hearing this Christmas chatter:) glad you could join us.

Kayandy I'm good thanks for asking. Trying to keep busy busy started the mammoth task of decorating. Downstairs almost complete next move is to tackle the upstairs and physic myself up for the hall stairs and landing! Everywhere should be fresh and bright by the time our decorations go up:)
Sorry you didn't get everything you were after you'll just have to have another trip- maybe when the Christmas lights are on. I've not ventured into primark for ages. At least the decorating stops me spending money!
Tigerlily I'm a vistaprint virgin so I'd be interested to know how you found the process etc
Pips Mum love the look of that site, how cute is the angel I love her little face. I'm excited to meet our newest member six days to go:) little Pea. We've a few expectant and very organised Mums now haven't we.
Chickywiggle you've done so well the bird hamper sounds such fun.
Chirpychick well done on your bargains today. I'm glad you've had a treat too you deserve it.
Damsel wow well done you. You did so well on your bargains today that loads done. And can I just say please PM me you inspired me today to search out some stamps that I won in 2008, I used them today posting a DVD to my VVGDG in Australia therefore saving myself stamps- therefore money neutral and as you can see

Vintage Queen what a shame there were no fleeces :( and anybody else who has tried today, although your wood burner sounded so cosy.
Pinksteps what a pair! I'm glad they have let your DS do his dance exam first tho. Good luck from me for his exam, then op the recuperation. I suppose if there is a best time to be laid up this is probably it- snugly time although for a teenage boy - probably not:(
Msgigglewick you are busy busy with all those birthdays AND Christmas !!
Ogglydoggy ooooh a real fire. Weirdly I had visions of Mary Poppins dancing on the rooftops with the chimney sweeps when I read your post :) Am wondering if your chimney sweep will be all singing and dancing. I love love love that film.
Junior_j well done you. Glad to see you posting I've missed you and your updates.
His missus well done with all your festive films- have fun watching them. Are you going to wait until December ?
Pinkfluffy thought that was just me. I couldn't believe it. Usually get a warning don't we- I wouldn't be surprised if this thread had crashed the site. Ha ha it gets so busy on here:)
Own My Own hope you are feeling better and get some sleep tonight. Can't help with the pressie for your niece but know a little boy who was one in July that loves the present for your nephew if that helps
Lemonade_ money how right you are. Such a really lovely bunch of people on here. I have heard of other threads nowhere near as friendly, it must be as you said the Christmas spirit. I do hope so.. And ha ha I've just looked at that sofa :) but the decals are lovely aren't they.
Finally caught up. Night night all

I'm praying for a christmas miracle with argos (or anywhere).

If anyone can get 2 of these down to a sensible price I will be forever grateful. I have 2 little boys who I think whould happily give every toy they have back to santa to find them under the tree but cannot justify them at that price.

Hi,I'm interested in what your saying about offers by post. I've never had anythign like that from Boots. I did check that they have the correct address which they do. Is it a bit like the coupons that come from Mr T?

Yes exactly the same. Vouchers that you take into the store and scan. Not available on line. Think you have to be advantage card holder. HTH

We usually have a few pop up Christmas shops in our town that just open over Xmas, but none of them have surfaced yet.

Is it still too early for them or something?

Chicky - fancy seeing you here. Not alot cheaper but Amazon have the Little Tikes engines at £53.99. If I see any cheaper on my travels I will let you know.

To everyone else, I suppose I should come out from lurking. Have only dipped in and out of the forum of late.

Sorted for most people except my Dad who is nearly 80, is on his own, doesn't drink or smoke and had no hobbies. Thinking of a magazine subscription but have done this the last few years.

Any ideas for a stroppy nearly 14 year old boy gratefully received. Has an xbox, isn't into designer clothes (thankfully), isn't into football. The only thing I can think of are Turtlebeach Headphones!! Christmas Stocking is proving a real problem.

Apologies if I shouldn't be asking questions like this, don't want to offend anyone.

Will read back now over the last few pages.
