Hiya :santa2:
I read 10 pages of posts this morning and STILL haven't caught up :snow_grin
Just a quick heads up.....The Christmas Shoes is on True Movies 1 tonight at 9pm....have your tissues ready it's a weepy. But nothing will ever be as bad as that daft film Stepmom that I can't watch now without sobbing all the way through hah
Bought DD2 (12 almost 13 going on 27) some One Direction Gel pens from Poundworld yesterday so her stocking is pretty much done barring chocolate coins, got my eye on the lovely big sweetie tube/jar things in B&M she picked the giant Drumstick lolly, no spare funds for them yet but they're on my list.0 -
love the sound of the giant Drumstick lolly! I seem to remember seeing a giant Chupa Chups lolly in The Works a few weeks back
Amazon have Jelly Bean Factory Santa Sleighs tubes, also Rudolph Noses and Snowmen, they look great! only trouble is they are selling in packs of 6 so £9+ but hopefully will be able to get a single tube from somewhere0 -

sounds like you had a very productive trip! some of your bargains sound fabulous - but sorry you didnt get your throws
its awful when you have your heart set on something and they don't have it, especially when you dont get to go often, do you think if you call them they may agree to let you know when some come in so they can hold one for you? I do wish they had online shopping! xx
The chenille Reindeer cushion at M&S has gone out of my basket and says out of stock, so thats one decision made for me!!I need not to spend anyway. My 2400 Nectar points from the online offer with S'bury have appeared on my account so will use those in my weekly shop tomorrow along with the £8 off if you spend £40
Thanks snugglebunny that's a good idea I will try that and see if they will do that for me. I didn't mind too much when I got over the shock of them not having much Xmas stock out !! It's October !!:rotfl:

Hello
another Christmas fan coming out of lurkville. Have been sitting here all pleased with myself as a huge primark has just opened across the road from me, so i bounded in there today sure such a big new store would have the fleece blankets, but nonot much xmas stuff at all actually!
Managed to get 2 x moshi pyjamas and 1 x toy story ones for my 3 boys xmas eve hampers though so not all lost.
Got a chimney sweep coming tommorow :j and have ordered the grate and things to go in fireplace, so fingers crossed we will have a real fire to snuggled in front of this Christmashave lived here 6 years but have always had a crawling baby so now ds is 2 1/2 we can finally do it!
Love love love reading this thread everyday, it's so festive and friendly0 -
Yes, I do think I will have to see the funny side, he is five foot ten and I'm barely five foot!
Did spend quite a few pennies on candles. My mum picked me up a couple of the primani throws and I've ordered some new duvet covers to see us through the winter. We live near to Gunwharf Quays outlet shops but not been there for years so I think that might be on my shopping spree too
Lol I did have a giggle when I read your heights. Good luck with that !! I'm glad you treated yourself to some candles :xmassmile0 -
