Trying to get back into Christmas after a few hiccups.
Found out my son is going to be out of action for at least three months with his legs in plaster/splints/callipers for corrective surgery. Good news is they are letting him do his dance exams first (desperate to be a dance teacher). Not so good news the treatment starts beginning Of December so I now have to adapt everything for him to move downstairs for a few months! Wish they done it when he was little, at fifteen and him being far taller than me I can see it being quite comical trying to lift him!
Now I need to have a search for these Yankee candles, think I need to treat myself.
What a shame I hope it all isn't too stressful for you my sons are 13 and 17 and I can't imagine having to lift them. Yikes ! I think you do deserve some lovely candles the scented candle shop online have some really cheap prices at the mo you can get the cinnamon stick wax tarts for 90 p ! And also the mandarin and orange tarts for 90p bargain0 -

Very dissapointed as practically leapt into primarni in my excitement to get to the christmas stuff but no Xmas fleeces !! No cushions !! And no Xmas pjs !!! Wah stamps feet  I did however find some lovely slipper socks red and white with reindeers for £4 ( the long type ) they look lovely and warm I Also got some over the knee blk and white reindeer socks for dd and a lovely set of 3 red and white Xmas candles ( each candle is in a clear jar with Christmassy words on the front in red and white with a white candle set in the jar they are tied up with red and white Xmas ribbon . They also had the individual scented Xmas candles for a £1 each . I got a little cosmetic bag ( leopard print for sd as she's leopard print mad this year ! ) with a set of 3 glitter eye powder s and a set of 3 lip glosses they were both in leopard print packaging too the bag was £2 and the two make up sets were only a £1 sale price so nice little stocking filler .
Then I headed for Wilkinsons and bought brown parcel paper and tags , pk of 10 red and white reindeers , snowflake etc wrap for £1 . Some ribbon red and white and raffia ribbon for my hampers
Then I collected my boots gift guide :xmastree: so over all wasn't a wasted trip :T. Hope you are all having a nice afternoon I'm back in my little cottage now with a cup of hot choc :coffee: just about to flick through my boots guide is it too early to light the log burner I wonder
never too early, and sounds idyllic!!sounds like you had a very productive trip! some of your bargains sound fabulous - but sorry you didnt get your throws
its awful when you have your heart set on something and they don't have it, especially when you dont get to go often, do you think if you call them they may agree to let you know when some come in so they can hold one for you? I do wish they had online shopping! xx
The chenille Reindeer cushion at M&S has gone out of my basket and says out of stock, so thats one decision made for me!!I need not to spend anyway. My 2400 Nectar points from the online offer with S'bury have appeared on my account so will use those in my weekly shop tomorrow along with the £8 off if you spend £40

Yes, I do think I will have to see the funny side, he is five foot ten and I'm barely five foot!
Did spend quite a few pennies on candles. My mum picked me up a couple of the primani throws and I've ordered some new duvet covers to see us through the winter. We live near to Gunwharf Quays outlet shops but not been there for years so I think that might be on my shopping spree too0 -

Forgot to metion, I got 2 rolls of brown paper wrap, 8 metres for a pound in @sd@. Usually cost more and longer than other shops.0
