If anyone can get 2 of these down to a sensible price I will be forever grateful. I have 2 little boys who I think whould happily give every toy they have back to santa to find them under the tree but cannot justify them at that price.
I think i saw an advert for argos yesterday saying something like 1/3 off toys..not sure if its just selelcted ones, but might be worht looking at? HTH0 -

Have you had to read back a few pages?
I find once opened if you backtrack a few pages it doesn’t let you thank anything that has been posted while you were reading through (does that make sense??)
Ohhh noodles. I’d be going mental at them. I would guilt trip them. They cannot expect you to bring a newborn baby into a home with a wall missing (and your midwife would have a few choice words for them too).
I would be demanding that if it is not finished by the time baby arrives (be it earlier or later) then you expect to be put into alternative accommodation at their expense until it is finished.

I LOVE her way of thinking!!!
We never ever get a thank you from hubbies side of the family so every year I spend less and less on them.
I send my side thank you letters after and this year DS1 will be 4 so I think I’ll be sitting him down and asking him to help me write them (i.e. giving me his words). I refuse to send them to his side – he can if he wants (which he won’t).

Mine seems like such a long time ago...

Ahhh, I have just got back from a lovely Christmas browsing sessionWent to help my friend choose some wallpaper and we went into the New BM that has opened in Bolton. They have aisles of Christmas things :j :j :T :T I resisted most things because I was with her lol but I HAD to buy a lovely white gravy boat with Santa and Rudolph on one side and a snowman and a robin on hte other side. really nice quality only £2.99
They had TONS of other stuff which I can't wait to get back and browse through on my own :j:j :rotfl:;)
My local BM didn't have any Xmas stuff in yet although they were clearing the shelves so maybe next time I go in

The Polar Bear Express comes to North East.
Sorry i have tried but cant post link its on the UK Holidays board.
Think its quite exspensive at £70 for a family of 4 but might be worth a look.
Not sure if this is the correct way, but it is how I put link to other threads in my post.

I did see one on Amazon for £36.00 but then I saw they wanted £20.00 P&P  Does anyone know when Sainsbury's are due to have their half price toy sale?0 -

When I took our gifts to her up last Christmas, I asked for some birth dates for the family tree. Out came a long list of people, but some had little crosses next to them and some were crossed out. Knowing that these cousins were not dead I asked why they had a line though their name and what the crosses were for.

In the planning guide 'end of November - start putting non perishable items in your basket each week to spread the cost' ... end of November??!! we are all doing that now!
'Christmas Eve - wrap gifts for the family's stockings' .. again .. Christmas EVE!?
I think we should start a magazine about how to plan Christmas the MSE way!!!!
I agree, but it would have to be a free guide otherwise it wouldn't be very MSE of us would it.
Some of those tips are shocking though, I've been spreading the cost for months, if you start doing it all at the end of november that wouldn't spread anything, it would proabably people (me at least) to drop dead of heart failure in the supermarket when I saw my bill at the till!Ahhh, I have just got back from a lovely Christmas browsing sessionWent to help my friend choose some wallpaper and we went into the New BM that has opened in Bolton. I love that B&M ! I have a big one closer by as well but I think the way they've moved the old Bolton big B&M to the new place and the way it's laid out and the size of it is fab!! I used to go out of my way to the bolton one even before it moved though because they actually have more stock as it's apparently a B&M wearhouse and not just a regular B&Mchickywiggle wrote: »

NopeIt's still doing it now, I can thank some people but not others. It lets me press the thanks button but then instead of it disappearing like it usually does when you've thanked someone, it comes back a few seconds later and it doesn't show that i've thanked them. It's very annoying!.
Having a coke with youis even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona0 -
The christmas clause is on sky movies famil at 2.30pm0
