dd has asked for an ipod for xmas!! x

Mum2one I just brought my boyfriend a 16gb iPod Nano (the new touch screen one) from the Apple Store - the new ones were £130+ and when I went to pay for it it offered me a refurbished one at £85 instead for exactly the same one - they have all been tested by Apple and were given an extended warranty.
Also - and I didnt know this - if you have an old iPod Nano - the first one that came out - there was a big recall on them as many had fault so if you send it back you may be entitled to a new replacement one - but check first. xxx

(FYI I am no way affiliated with Apple! Just love my iPod :rotfl::rotfl:)
    Time to find me again

I'm looking into doing the snowman soup for my friends for christmas...does anyone remember the cheapest place to get candy canes from at all?! Did the £1 shops sell them last year? I only need about 6 :) ..me and my old school friends haven't done gifts for each other for years, but this year I think I'm going to do a little something for them each...just because I want to! :)

If you have a range near you last year they were doing white chocolate snowman lollies for less than a pound I used them with my snowman soup they seemed to go down well

Have you thought about making him some chilli vodka? Very easy to do, just cheap vodka and leave a couple chillis in for a few days. I did some and left it for about 4 days and it blew my head off, but the recipient love it:rotfl:

What a great idea - never made it before but willing to have a go.....would it be possible to use a little bottle of vodka as I'm not sure if he likes it?

Also, how far in advance can it be made?
    Stopped smoking 20th October 2012 :D

This year I will have something that resembles a garden and not a building site!

with the vodka u can use how ever much you want to, as long as the bottles have been sterlised.

if u have a dishwasher this does it for you, or the old fashioned way, wash in hot soapy water, then pop in oven on a low heat for 15mins, - this sterilies them.

I use small olive oil bottles or the small wine bottles, that way you can mix and match the flavours. xx

we've cut the list back from last yr, the trouble is a lot are what i call token presents, with Miss hoodie (DD), its school teacher + the ta's, then we get for a few people that have looked after us through the year, set a budget of £5 per person for these, but usually get something in the sales for £2. Sentimental old sod at heart. xx
