I've gone quiet trying to find a job to fund christmas! lol! But I have an interview for a job tomorrow, so will see how it goes! In the meantime I have put a couple of things on eBay to get some funds coming in
got a bid on one of them within mins of listing it last night! So that's another £5 in the Christmas pot! ...it's been quite good keeping myself away from the shops as it's helped me to properly plan what I need/want to get
Good luck with the interview!Spreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:0 -
I even brought some christmas presents back from holidays, -
Bottle duty free Brandy - £10.50 - friends hubby
Black pashima with silver decoration £6 - friend (part of her prezzie)
Doing a Tunisia food box - got spices, harrisa, spaghetti, pasta, nuts, biscuits, olive oil - just got to get a basket to pop that in.
The plan next week to attack the christmas list, see what I need, done a couple of hand knit jumpers for friends kids, they work £2 for the wool, saves me putting £5 by for them, xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Thank you noodles!0

Back from hols and back in the Christmas spirit, albeit a spirit who's rather short of money! DH is on the job hunt, fingers crossed he's succesful long before Christmas. I have lots of birthdays to deal with up to August so have been rather concentrating on those but it's time to start thinking about my xmas list.0

I had a good Xmas organised day yesterday sorted through my present drawers I have enough stuff for 4 pamper hampers, have my neice and nephew almost complete and have been collecting boxes for possible retro sweet boxes and want to do FIL a cooking hamper with different sauces and spices etc with a cookbook.
Also bought ds his first bike this week with saved up tesco vouchers can't decide whether to give it to him for Xmas or his birthday in August0 -

love the sound of the pamper hampers, and sounds like a great deal on the bike, - i would say give it him for his birthday, as he can get the use out of it more than if it was an xmas prezzie, xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Had my interview today, it went okay I think
..don't know if this will help anyone but I went into a Tesco superstore today and in the party section there was a mini face paint set in the shape of a scull and cross bones and it was just 13p! Shame I have no one to buy it for but thought I'd pop a message in here in case anyone finds it useful for pressies
