The pound shop has those chocolate tool sets in at the minute...with the fathers day stuff.

For one of my sis in laws and her partner this year I want to get them onesies, does anyone know anywhere that does them cheap...I was wondering if primark does them but don't have one local so it's a one off when I get to one...if they do them can anyone tell me how much they are from there? I was thinking onesies, slippers socks from pound shop and hot water bottles!

Primark do sell them and I think they might be about the £10 mark but not too sure. There are usually people selling them on Ebay so might be worth seeing if it is cheaper to order one rather than paying to travel to a Primark?

Hello everyone, been neglecting here a little as I haven't felt too festive but have bought Innotab software for £10 each instead of the usual £20-£25 mark up from the entertainer.

Have decided that perhaps I will do hampers this year as everyone moans about the amount we spend (we spend about £5 per person but as we get good deals from grabbit and etc it looks alot more) so we will make the contents ourselves and our daughter can handmake some items too. Found some gorgeous lidded hampers with leather straps for just under £7 each, couples getting this as a joint gift with extras to compensate for two people so works out the same price, a bit more effort but hopefully more Christmassy and less arguments and gives me a creative outlet :D

Have a list of things to make closer to the time but will start making some ornaments with dd to add to the tags an maybe start designing some Christmas cards for dd to paint/colour/add glitter and other sparkly things.

Need to start saving for Christmas dinner, we did an M&S Christmas last year on Christmas Day and then went to my mums for Boxing Day and had exactly the same :S So we will get Christmas food elsewhere this year.

Oooh feeling all Christmassy again :D
    Comping wishlist for 2017
    1. Family holiday 2. Christmas presents :rudolf: 3. Fishing stuff

I know Brooklyn loves eating hahaha maybe a ready meals hamper? ;)
Mitch likes gaming and is a builder maybe a really good tool box filled with sweets? So he could have a snack in his breaks at work? I don't know im not very creative lol

Have you seen the Takeaway Secret book?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Takeaway-Secret-Favourite-Fast-food/dp/0716022354/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1339323537&sr=1-1 It's often cheaper than that on Amazon and you make a great hamper with the book plus some spices and ingredients. I bought it for my brother last Chrsitmas and he loved it!

  • Can I join too? I sorted through my present cupboard last night and have started my Xmas list. Baby 2 is due on the 6th December and I had a c-section last time so I'm trying to be organises in case I am out of action in the run up to Christmas this year.

WH Smiths's had all their 2012 children's albums for 99p this week, so bought three for my son's stocking ( Chuggington, Fireman Sam and Peppa) plus two Very Hungry Catepillar ones as gifts as they didn't have the date/year on.

Planning to do chutneys/jams too later in the year, and last year had great success with Skittles vodka so will prob do a variation on that again. I also want to do some layered cookie/brownie mixes too so need to look out for jars for those.
