Hello All
Any space left for a little one to join ?
I am a christmas nut job too according to my boyfriend. Im even an Organised Christmas Elf (its an online christmas forum!) which basically amuses my christmas urges all year round! There are several other MSE members there too so we all talk about christmas only! lol
I have just brought a few bits and pieces form the Mr T gift sets range as they are all reduced to like £2.50 and are on 3 for 2. I used a £4 voucher I had and have had 6 sets for £7.50 - will collect them tomorrow so that is 3 peoples gifts as with 3 i intend to make a hamper for my Step Mum, a set each for my step brother and sister and the last one will be my OH Fathers Day present off the kiddiwinks
I have 15 people and 7 pets to buy for.
Well as least now I have 3 people sorted and I went through my christmas cupboard earlier and have found a little set of strawberry and cream milkshake which is a bath lotion, body scrub and lip-sill so I will make a mini box with them and some strawberry and cream sweets for Bens teacher so effectively I have 4 sorted.
Of the others that are left though 4 are adults, 2 are family gifts, 4 are children and 1 baby.
Of the pets they are 7 dogs including a yorkshire terrier, a jack russell, a border collie and 4..........yes 4! Weinmeraners!:eek::eek:
Oh so excited about Xmas already and its only June!

are doing a small freebie tote (36cm x 34 cm x 6 cm) if you pay the £3 odd postage you can have a picture and any writing that you choose put on it.
I have just ordered a small tote bag, with a cancer ribbon on with the words
''Still Fighting.....Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma
~June 2012''
I plan to take it shopping with me and then I will fill it up with lots of nice treats etc for my nan who is currently suffering from NHL.
I look forward to talking to you all soon and enjoying the christmas craziness!Time to find me again0 -
the savings pot has been smashed and i had £65 :j in notes which i am hopefully goingto put towards the panto tickets this week providing they are on yet
the was £17 in coins which i have put into my new savings pot (in true mse style, it is a m+s xms musical cookie tindh has made me a coin slot and 'hard-as-nails'ed' the lid on) to continue saving for xmas activities. i will probaly open again at the back end of november.
i was quite pleased at what i had managed to squirrel away so far though
i have just discovered this disney magic rewards dvd thingy. my kids have quite a few disney dvds but when i went through the cases i could only find 4 of the codes. i didnt think it would amount to anything (hence why ive never bothered before) but i entered the codes anyway and was suprised to find (along with a booster points on grabbit the other day) that i had enough points for a dvd :j so i have ordered 'tangled' to put away for dd for xmas. then i found another code which has given me another 200 points towards my next one:T
the kids have done me a list of the dvds that they want for xmas so i will buy them a couple at a time, open the wrapper and input the codes to hopefully get a few more free ones for xmas:D:D:D
sammy_kaye18 whats the website that you use?
im going to write my xmas list on here in a minute as i found in previous years it was a lot easier to edit than my note books with lots of scribbling out (although i am a listaholic so will write and scribble away to my hearts content anyhow)
hope no one minds.Mummy to ds 29/12/06 dd 10/2/08 ds 25/5/11:Amy angel born too soon 18/11/12, always with me Emmie Faith:A15 projects in 2015 10/15completed0 -

Hi everyone.... Do you mind if i join you as i love christmas it is by farr my fav time of the year i love the build up and everything.. ive been reading this thread most of the night and am only up to page 11 as keep getting distracted. i have started buyin presents already and have sashed them in random storage spaces around the house as i struggled last year with being off work through illness. i have my notebook with gift ideas budget presents already got etc in them and i have paypal that i use for gifts only, a huge coke bottle that i started filling up in dec witch will also be used for presents etc and i also do survey sites to et more bits of money. im lucky as i either go to my mums for dinner etc or my mil's so i dont have to buy food etc...IM SO EXSITED!!!!0

Hi everyone!!! Any room for a newbie? I've been lurking in the shadows for a couple of months now but I've finally decided to burst out into the open
I absolutely LOVE :xmastree:Already got lots of my shopping done (I'll pop a list on abit later as I agree it's much easier to edit it on here than in my Christmas notebook) Although in total I have at least 25 people to buy for so I'm probably nowhere near as close to being finished as I thought I was!!! I've also started a savings pot putting away £10-15 a week that can be smashed at the beginning of December to cover the costs of the festivities (panto/Xmas markets etc.) Arrrrgggghhhhh I'm soooo excited - I could talk about it all day but my OH won't let me
Grinch!!!

Hello and welcome to all the 'newbies' it's nice to know I'm not the only one who loves Christmas this much! I'm awaiting a payout of £40 from a survey website, so I'm sure that'll help my money stretch further
nearly up to another £15 voucher payout on another site which will also help! Been entering a few competitions too to see if I can win a few pressies!
I've sorted out one of my storage boxes and made it into my 'pressie box' it has my Christmas cards in there too...I keep looking at them and it makes me excited! haha!0 -
welcome to all the newbies :j
today i took my eldest two to pictures and as we were early we popped into the disney store, my son bought a ds game with his pocket money so i pinched the 'magical code'
and i also bought 6 dvds to add to the xmas stash, all had the codes and i have just ordered another 2 dvds for free with the codes :T:T:T
they are also running a special promotion where you can get £2 off a future puchase with the codes. i have 6 of these (none in the ds game) which will all go towards another 6 dvds, which in turn will get me more points and vouchers and so on and so on.... i can see this becoming an obsession(and dh pointed out its going to cost me a fortune, but i dont listen to him so thats ok!)
i think i will also get dd the new disney princess charm braclet thats in there she will love it! its £3 and the charms come in a set of 3 and are £2 each and a new set is released each week
im thinking i may need to be banned from that shop soonMummy to ds 29/12/06 dd 10/2/08 ds 25/5/11:Amy angel born too soon 18/11/12, always with me Emmie Faith:A15 projects in 2015 10/15completed0 -
Hello!!
I am back!
I had my week away and now I really should be doing housework!
I have spent the past 2 weeks basically hunting for baby stuff and deciding what we need to buy.
I have finished babies stocking lol.
I got a razor free that turned up in the post the other day, must have been a competition i entered but im pretty chuffed as that is a great stocking filler for hubby and a £2 off the blades which i will get nearer the time.
As time goes on im getting more and more skint and worrying more and more about how on earth i am going to manage christmas this year. I only have £25 saved so far!
It is time to start tackling things like carboot sales I think!
Hope you are all well.... im off to look for freebies and grabbitsEverything is always better after a cup of tea0 -
Oh yes definately look at carboot sales. My little girl is due 27th Aug and have 6 plastic storage tubs full of clothes for about £30! Most of it is like new and I've found really good brands for next to nothing, I've got some lovely mamas and papas dresses and tops, loads of stuff from Next and quite a bit from Gap. All of it for the price of a couple of dresses in some shops
Things like baby baths are a good carboot buy too as can easily be cleaned.**** Itchin' for a glitchin' ****0
