I love the idea of planning to do a christmassy thing each day, like ice skating etc. I need to do more christmassy things this year! I'd love to get all my xmas shopping done early so I can walk round the shops and enjoy the atmosphere with a leisurely walk around whilst the other people in there go crazy last min0

Gleek - yes, I'm a list maker too. Usually it's just on scrap paper but this thread prompted me to treat myself to a nice book specially for Xmas lists. This should also mean that as I'll be keeping it from year to year I won't repeat presents. So far it's just got ideas for the things to go in the homemade Xmas hampers that I'm doing again this year.
The next list, which I'll probably do this weekend if the weather carries on the way it is, is for Xmas Eve hampers. I've never done them before but love the idea of it. Xmas day is usually a bit hectic as we have OHs and my families over, so I thought that a chilled Xmas Eve for just the two of us would be great.
Off now to pick elderflowers for cordial - and that'll be the first present in the hampers done :j0 -
i may be being to adventurous but after over filling kids and oh stockings the last few years and them getting damaged when we clear away the xmas stuff i plan on making 5 stockings!
but i did receive a lovely sewing machine last xmas and have only backed and taken up curtains and making my boys ripped knee jeans into shorts on it so far so this would be much more exciting :j

Made me feel better already. Great news about Rosebud Chrissy Gleek really is a Christmas angel:).
I did Christmas Eve Hampers last year:) loved them had more fun I think than with anything else. Last year I planned and bought for them in December and they worked out a little pricey (although worth every penny). This year I WILL BE PREPAREDBought the pjs (Christmassy) in the sales and little bits and bobs as I find them.
