Miss Hoodie has now changed her mind, she no longer wants an ipod - (this beats it hands down), she only wants to go back to the same hotel we've just come back from, but she'll have her share as her christmas present!!

got to give her 10/10 for brainwork!! xx

Want to try and get these done before I completely focus in Xmas but I'm getting there for Xmas I'm sorting my lists out tomorrow as there all over the place then sticking some more bits onto eBay for a bit of extra money along with some surveys! I have an idea of what I'm getting most people for Xmas just need to buy them! I do have a few bits put away up to now for gifts :) and I want to make my oh a Xmas eve hamper as its our first Xmas eve in together as I normally stay at my mums so any ideas would be great :)

2day i made a journal in a jar gift for my nanny (bday) but thought i would mention as i got it off organized Christmas website lots of fab ideas on there and the prezie cost £2 for the jar and writing pad outta £1land paper and a pen i had and it looks fab a good gift idea :)

anybody do anything on new years eve with the children i would like to plan something coz new years eve is always a bit of a flop christmas come down :( in this house and id like to plan something to make it more exciting any suggestions?

My daughter and I do New Year's Eve hampers for each other. We used to do Christmas Eve ones, but decided to change it to NYE because, as you say, it is a bit of a let down after Christmas and Christmas Eve is exciting enough without hampers with the expectation of the following day.

What a great idea - never made it before but willing to have a go.....would it be possible to use a little bottle of vodka as I'm not sure if he likes it?

Also, how far in advance can it be made?

You can make it whenever you like really. The vodka does tend to get stronger with time though just to warn you!!

I must stop spending...must stop spending!! Why do I see so many bargains when it's still a week to payday??

Hehe ..went to ASDA for bread and ended up buying a little 'Superhero Dad' photo frame for £2 ....then got a full bottle of vodka and some chillis....:)

Going to make a 'sample' miniature bottle or two ...well, I will obviously have to test the strength to check if it's ok:rotfl::rotfl:

If BiL decides he doesn't like it then DD and I have agreed we'll take it off his hands and use it to see the New Year in (which is also my birthday!!)
    Stopped smoking 20th October 2012 :D

This year I will have something that resembles a garden and not a building site!

Isn't it made with cream? I haven't tried but I'd be inclined to wait until nearer xmas perhaps.
