OK so in a bid to save a lot of money this Christmas., I am going to make all my own xmas presents!
Is it wrong that I am totally excited about this!?
So far I am making;
*Framed poems
*Knitted scarves (figured I would learn on youtube)
*Homemade jams & chutneys with photo labels of the family
*Cakes (strategically wrapped)
Any other ideas? The best part is there is no pressure, it doesn't have to be perfect and family and friends will appreciate the work you put in.
Plus if I do really mess it up...... I will just say the kids did that one (although I am convinced they will rat me out)0 -
maryleerk - you could add some homemade biscuits, if they drink add some flavoured vodkas xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

the homemade gifts sound wonderful! I do like the idea of adding homemade biscuits as well
Missorganised, if you type eg 'pink cellophane' in to Amazon it brings up lots, for some odd reason they have a lot in Toys and Games! I got the pale pink rose print 100 yard roll, for 3.99+ p+p so hopefully will last for some time, it comes with curling ribbon
similar age gap to my two then! 4 year old will be wonderful as you will get all the school carol concerts, nativities etc - word of warning, buy a checked tea towel well in advance just in case yours is a shepherd! as they sell out everywhere in all the supermarkets in december cos everyone buys them for the shepherd outfits!
took me about 3 years to realise that as had to go round hundreds of places to find one in December!
lovely ages for Christmas, makes me broody!0 -
