  • ooh i forgot about that. its movies 24, they change it to christmas 24 :T

Ah yes that's right movies 24 thank you :) if anyone can remember the date it switched to christmas 24 last year would be handy to know :rudolf:

Was also having a think about my db and his gf as they are hard to buy for and was thinking a joint present of a movie night hamper Maybe 2 films one for him one for her dodgeball or hangover for him and a rom com for her pretty woman or 50 first dates ? They are in their mid twenties so should suit their age . I would add a couple of bottles beer for him a mini bottle of wine for her . Then popcorn , salted peanuts, scented candle , chocs and sweeties ? What do you think fellow christmas buddies ? :santa2:
  • Just had a look on pound land website and saw dodgeball, casino royale , devil wears Prada , the Bourne identity and quite a few more if anyone is looking for DVDs for hampers or stocking fillers they also had the horrible histories DVDs all for a pound ( I know it's obvious but people do still ask :rotfl:)

Sounds fab. I'm sure you could find some films they'd both like though, maybe american pie. what about a fleecy blanket to snuggle under?

Am definitely going to give these a go!

Movies 24 becomes Christmas 24 usually last weekend in November I think :D

Yes I confess, I have not bought anything for Christmas yet. It's too early to be asking people what they want, I'll just get lots of tuts! Am saving up survey points to turn into vouchers for amazon/Debs/Next, got a few points on my Boots card so should be ok.

So far, I only know what I'm buying my bessie mate no2 - I'm getting her a carvery gift card. We go most months as our get together but sometimes she can't afford it (money is even tighter for her than for me) and she sometimes cancels because she doesn't like me always paying for her so this way she won't have to worry about the expense.

In all, I need to buy for DH, my Mum & dad, dog, sister, bro in law, 2 nieces, 2 bessie mates, 2 work colleagues (wine traditionally- always pick up nice bottles when on half price offer) and on DH's side mum & dad, sister, bro in law, 3 nephews, 2 other sisters, then the next-door neighbours who always take in parcels for me and put up with my cats sitting on their shed staring at them whenever they're in their back yard.

Thanks for the christmas movie start date :)
