(Can't see the picture too clearly tbf!)
Yes, that's it, thank you. x
Love the reindeer cupcakes, I pinned these a couple of weeks ago to my Ho Ho Ho! board!
I spotted a casino themed notebook for my MIL's casino hamper today, unfortunately I was with her at the time so I had to wait until she had wandered off then try to hide it under a birthday card until I got to the till! :rotfl:
I also managed to get 2 large candy canes to have a go at a sleigh. Need to get the other choccie now and then make it quickly before I eat anything!
Thank you for tip about the films, we are out for a lot of the weekend, but I will sky+ any favourites.* Ebay- 1 Bag a Day *0 -

start wrapping, if anyone didnt see it (you dont have to be a big fan of his to enjoy it) it's worth seeing if it's on again this year, its in a big snowy log cabin and some fab Christmas songsso lovely and Christmassy
Dawn French was so funny! I now love buble because of this show and brought his christmas album, it's fab, I played it last year when I had my best friend over with her kids as we bake gingerbread houses with the kids and get them to decorate them..its such a giggle, and we all get covered in sprinkles and icing! We do this instead of buying presents for each other0 -

I've just had an email update and they said the same thing to my, glitch in the us and has been sent 1st class..very glad I brought it now! Think I would be pulling my hair out if it was closer to Christmas :eek:0 -

Oh yes, we got our £4 tin of Roses in Tesco today! They had Quality Street too.
I'm sure I've seen them for £3.50 in previous years, but thought I wouldn't risk it and wait for that to happen.:rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf: :rudolf:0 -

I get excited when they change one of the movie channels to just Xmas films I think it's true movies ? Nearly all cheesy stuff but still gets you in the festive spirit :xmastree::rudolf:
Christmas 24 starts November 12th?? :j according to it's Facebook page anyway, not sure if that was last year's date though but it'll probs be about the same time this year.
Hiya I'm a lurker, I looooooove Christmas and I've ramped it up a gear now it's September, just sorted through the stuff I've already bought (Jan sales mainly) to see what's what and who will get what. Not got much dosh this year (Self-employed) so thank goodness for my mse ways and buying when I've seen something cheap/half price.
I'm quite looking forward to doing it 'on the cheap' I love a challenge and the pressure lessens somewhat, everyone's been warned and everyone's quite ok with it, and I've told them not to splash out either, no-one can afford it really and I'd rather spend the time doing things and playing games rather than being a mega stress-head and tetchy and biting people's heads off all December because I'm trying to find the money for things people don't need :rotfl:
^^^^^^^^^^^Remind me I said that ^^^^^^^^^^
There's a couple of people on this thread in my neck of the woods, South Shields, hiya :wave:0 -
Does anyone know the cheapest place to buy tins of Celebrations and Heroes?
For Christmas you understand;)
Clarex
Whoops I missed Cornishorchid's reply a few posts above answering my question!0 -
I am just making my shopping list for when we're in the UK in November. So far I am looking at children's cold/flu medication plus crumpets and sausages (all things we find it hard to get here). I will also get some Quality Street or something. My question is, though - what sort of thing do you buy to have just-in-case over the festive season?Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
Three gifts left to buy0 -
Oh Oh Oh Oh, just announced on True Movies, on Saturday 29th September there is a full day of Christmas Movies woohoo.. sorry, I just had to share when I heard it. BAck to lurkdom now shhhhh
Am getting a bit worried about Saturday. Don't want to watch them all on Sat, then have nothing to watch in December. Do they repeat them a lot, or will there be new ones on later ?cornishorchid wrote: »Tescos have the chocolate tins, like celebrations and roses etc for £4 at the mo until oct 5th or 10th can remember what the exact date. Was just going to post about them. Saw offer in our local express on my way home from work.
Spoke to the manager about when it is best to go in. He said Monday evening.
So next Monday evening I am going in with my biscuit barrel of pennies, and I am getting them on self service.
I know the big Tesco has a voucher machine, but it charges a fee.
By using SS I get to use all my change on goodies :snow_laug0
