Definately going to try the reindeer cupcakes! I'm dieting atm, may need to wait until nearer the time :-) I wonder if mini jaffa cakes would work for the face?

Hi I'm going to try and do the same there's a lot of links on websites of how to make simple ones . Saw some lovely christmas fabric on eBay vintage style stuff but my sd ( step daughter ) is 10 and heavily into anything leopard print so that's just given me the idea for hers :xmassign: tried to add a link but can't seem to figure out how to :question:0 -
If DH (darling husband) is in bad books then I substitute the D in my head for something a little more appropriate such as d*ckhead husband...
I ordered my first christmas present today :j:j I know - quite a bit behind a lot of you guys, but progress non the less...
I also looked through the smyths catalogue with my DD this morning as she didn't have a single thing to ask for on her wish list from santa. She is 6.5 and a lot of the toys are a little young for her these days, but other stuff seems too grown up for her still. I am an old fashioned type mommy, so she isn't allowed the telly on very often, and she doesn't have a computer console. She has a v-tech laptop with learning type things on it which she plays with, but I don't really want to get her a DS or anything like that.
She loves dancing (goes to dance classes) and music, so we talked about maybe an MP3 player from santa.
Gingernutbizkit - We're going to lapland UK on december 1st! :j:j:j Am so excited already. Only 66 sleeps to go :rotfl::rotfl:Married my lobster in July 2011

Even though I'm still quite a newbie myself I don't feel like it(was a lurker for ages:)) so hello and welcome more newbies. Its a very welcoming and friendly place and I went from having nobody sorted for Christmas to having only 3 people left in a really short space of time with the help from people on here :j
Anyway back to why I posted just now:eggnog does not sound nice at all now I know what it is. I was the same and thought it was American version of a snowball. So thanks for clearing that up.
I have been lurking for months. ( sounds a little strange :snow_grin ). Thank you for the welcome its such a friendly site. I have only brought a few presents and bits and fear I'm very behind you organised lot ! This is however due to financial difficultys but now my oh has more work and I start a new part time job the christmas shopping begins !! I brought the better christmas app last night and it was well worth the 69 p I think . I added all my family members and friends to it last night whilst watching love actually with the log fire roaring . Said to oh and ds2 isn't it lovely and Christmassy and was met with looks of bewilderment and pity lol. I don't care though it makes me happy :j

Oh and I'm relieved to hear I'm not the only one sneakily listening to the odd christmas song and watching a film ( I save my favourites until December though ) and force one of my teen kids to watch with me snigger :snow_laug. I get excited when they change one of the movie channels to just Xmas films I think it's true movies ? Nearly all cheesy stuff but still gets you in the festive spirit :xmastree::rudolf:0

A great example if the size of the chocolate tins, as few pages back on the thread...they have come down from something in the region of a few kgs to less than 1kg!0
