ooh skittles vodka...I've really got to try making that at some point! maybe this year?! ..can you get away with using cheap vodka?! lol! ..or do you have to buy a standard bottle do you think?

W H Smith have had picture ones in in the past few years, though nothing in there when I popped in last week.

So I bought loads of boxes of matches and glued them together.
I then draw the front of a house the same size. Cut it into rectangles, and glued them to the front of the boxes.

You can then either add little handles and cover the back. Or leave the back open and push the drawers open that way.

Don't forget to number them !!
I don't use that many matches
I then put little jelly sweets in them.


I also got some felt, cut the childrens names out, and glued them to pillow cases. I them just tacked round the edges. We still use them now.
My son may not like Christmas but he likes his named sack.:D

..oh and dips! I can't have christmas without a range of dips for nibbles! (I actually just typed 'nipples' instead of 'nibbles' at first!!)

It wasn't branded such as Smirnoff because they needed a few bottles - I think it was just Tesco vodka!

Grrr! I multi-quoted then pressed delete to get rid of a typo and it's all gone! :mad:

I love dry roasted peanuts at christmas even though I dislike peanuts in general But my fave food for christmas has to be mince pies.

You're a chatty bunch, can't keep up with you all over the weekend. WHoever did the craft fair ( I did multi quote you so I'd remember who you were :mad:) I hope you did well.

chirpychick-I think the Boots sets are very expensive too, I very rarely buy anything from there. If I do its 75% off!

I use my b00ts advantage points to buy sets for sis in law/mum in law & sis - it is expensive otherwise
