Hi been reading all of you're posts for a few days and you all have some fantastic ideas. I absolutely love Christmas but if i talk about it to my OH, I get THE look. lol
I need some help, I am making hampers for close family and really struggling for my mum. She loves Gordons Gin so was thinking of somehow incorporating this into the hamper but what else could i put with it?
Thanks and hope you don't mind me joining in.
welcome! how about a couple of the teenie Schweppes tonic tins and a nice tumbler? I'm sure ive seen Gordons Gin marmalade somewhere, will have to wrack my brains! I'm sure some liquer chocolate boxes have gin ones, may be worth a google? good luck! will let you know if I find the marmalade0 -
Thanks littlemschatabox and snugglebunny8. Not sure how to thank you on you're post, never used forums before.
I will have to have a look for the liqueurs and gin marmalade, she will love those i think.
Not as organised as all you are, wish i was.
I think I have only bought about 3 things for my daughter but getting organised now the shops are stocking gifts and christmas stock.
I have quite a large family so got alot to buy for.0 -
I can't remember who posted but I get new Xmas pjs every Xmas eve!! Have done for as long as I can remember but my bf thinks I'm mental as he never did anything like that!! So I have done him (really for me) a Xmas eve hamper hahahahahaha! He has ADHD and aspergis (sp?) so just treats it like a normal day! He dosnt get the excitement but goes along with it! He also get his presents off his mum Xmas eve night as even though he is now 23 he gets loads off his family && mine especially with him being an only child so his mum give him hers Xmas eve as when he was little he'd get that much he would be overwhelmed && kick off && it's just never changed!0

Someone upthread (or possibly in the Edible Gifts for Christmas thread) made gin and tonic lemon marmalade. Other than that, maybe a cute ice cube tray and some nibbles?Does anyone else get Xmas pjs every year?
We do it! This year I have leopard print fleecy bottoms and a black top, DH has a Twelve Days of Christmas Tshirt and black bottoms, and my 3yo has red penguin print fleece jammies.
Feeling very good this morning, I was up with DD in the playroom wrapping gifts for family. Five people are all finished so far :A I've also been downloading pretty fonts for my mailing labels.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I saw these in Poundland, thought they may be nice for Adult snowman soups or winter warmer hampers?

They are fantasticWe got some and are using them now - and went back and got another four
They're great for taking a hot chocolate up to bed and no risk of spilling

re Christmas pj's - when mine were tiny I used to go to Mothercare mid afternoon on Christmas Eve when they were marking everything down before the Boxing Day sale, and get Christmas pyjamas for them for the following year, I get mine new pj's now for Christmas Eve but I couldnt see any Christmas ones for older kids, but in the back on my mind I think I may have seen some Christmas ones for young kids on the Next website this week though? worth a quick look - their pj's dont shrink in the tumble dryer and don't lose colour, Ive bough non-Christmassy ones for both of mine from there0

I think this is just beautiful, but some reviews mention some of the images as of European characters we may not know, I really wanted the very traditional cracker, tree, angel, reindeer, present type pics, what do you think?0 -
