Not sure if its been mentioned as I havent had a chance to look through previous posts xPPI Claims won £3000:j now free of all credit card debt after 10 years.

My3girls - In poundstretcher (if you have one) they have collapsible water bottles like this
They are really useful as they clip to your belt/bag etc. Festivals generally only let you take liquids in in plastic bottles so this can be a godsend (and a money saver as drinks can cost a fortune)
SORRY! was so excited to post this for you I didn't realise they had already been mentioned0 -

Hiya, can I join your merry little bunch. I have scanned through the posts and have already got lots of ideas for my wee family. I love Christmas especially buying all the wee stocking fillers and cosy nights in with a box of chocs. My task this week is to find a soft toy elf so I can start the elf tradition with my boys who are 15 months and 4. x0

Is it a big commericial type of festival? All of the bigger ones I have been to have only allowed sealed plastic bottles of water to be taken in, nothing that could have been emptied and refilled with anything else basically! And they do search your bags, but some are more thorough than others.
I love wet wipes at festivals, even if you only pop in a portaloo for a second, you come out feeling so disgusted and like you may have caught some terrible disease that wet wipes feel more like you've 'washed' your hands. I took those as well as the sanitiser and tissues. I also used to take loads of snacks, preferably that you can eat without physically touching them like snack bars and bananas. I know I sound a bit over the top, but when it rains the mud gets everywhere including your food! Plus it means that when you have your 'spot' you don't have to leave to find food.0 -
Could I ask for all of your wonderful help for a 'festival' hamper for my daughter please?
She has asked for hunter Wellies as her main present so I will put those in, with the socks, ticket for her first ever festival (I will be taking her, just one day so no camping) waterproof jacket and hand sanitizer.... What else?
Thanks in advance

You may not know the answer to this but do you know what she will be wearing? I don't know what time of year she is going but if I wear shorts, a skirt or a dress with wellies I always wear knee high socks to stop them rubbing on my legs. You can get really nice ones in places like New Look. As tryingtoruletheworld mentioned tissues are a godsend with the Portaloos, you could get her some pretty packs of tissues and a mini hand sanitiser bottle. I use them all the time when I go to events with portaloos! Our Asda has nothing xmas related out, though they have got some wintry pj's out. Got myself and dd some me to you bear pj's with glittery winter scenes on for our hamper, just need to sort out dh's. They also had a nice looking box of Borders scottish biscuits for £3 so i got a box for an xmas pressie. Morrisons has so far the best xmas aisle! I also loved Santa Claus the movie as a child and like you I like to watch it but its not one of my fav's. I love the snowman although its not a film I just love it!
Thanks for the heads up, I now am prepared and won't be disappointed! Another of the supermarkets nearby is Morrisons so I will insist on going there next time!0 -
What about doing a December 1st hamper instead? You could have a little advent calendar in each, still jammies/hot chocolate/DVD and that way you have the whole of December to enjoy :-)

Good idea!! That's why I love this place as everyone gives me ideas I wouldn't have thought about! Yes I think I will do something like that as I don't want to miss out! Has anyone ever made a casino themed hamper?
I have decided to make one for my MIL (after she taught my younger 2 to play poker last time they stayed over :rotfl:).
I have been looking on Amazon and ebay for roulette sets and party themed casino decorations. I have also seen chocolate dice, poker chips and coins.
I was wondering if anyone else has any other good suggestions please?* Ebay- 1 Bag a Day *0 -
