I really fancy watching this - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Noel-DVD/dp/B000BY9CWM/ref=sr_1_1?s=dvd&ie=UTF8&qid=1347395298&sr=1-1
From what i can gather it was on tv in the usa last year and its out on dvd this year, it seems to have great reviews and I love love love susan sarandon, She always seems to be in movies that make me feel good after i've watched them, so even though it's quite expensive i'm going to try and get a copy.
Has anyone else seen it?

I love your idea for the bags.
I would like to do something next year very similar, do you have any ideas of anything else you plan to put in them (LOL talking about next year before this year is here yet - but because I intend on getting bits throughout the year as and when I see them) I just wondered if you had any examples of what else you might have found so far?
I saw this thread and am responsible for the APL site.. (thank for the plug) I know it's a little early but I've just put all our xmassy bags in one place..
I've popped a link on the homepage on the bottom left - not going to post it here as don't want to be accused of spamming..
We are more trade based but would be probably worth looking at if you are planning an event or something.0 -

you can select 2 posts with it. then use 'quote' on the 3rd one meaning you can reply to 3 people in one post.
it is possible to quote more then 3 but it's tecchy and i'm not really sure i'll explain it well.
Thanks for this chickywiggle - i've been meaning to ask for ages how to multiple quote and kept forgetting! Apologies if someone else has already explained this too, I must have missed it!0 -

Thanks msgigglewick! I will try it soon!
I have to say I loved Santa Claus the Movie (with Dudley Moore) when I was younger and I still watch it now. It isn't one of my favourites but I do enjoy watching it at Christmas. I've only seen The Polar Express once and that was a few years ago, I recently bought it on dvd and i'm looking forward to it - it will feel ike the first time as I barely remember what happens!
Can anyone tell me if Asda have any Christmas stuff out? Now we've moved we've got a choice of a few supermarkets so we're going to try them all out. We're starting tonight with Asda and I was wondering if I was going to be excited or disappointed when I got there?! :rotfl:
In the past I mentioned that I was going to do a Christmas Eve hamper for me and my OH, i've never done one before and I was excited about it! However we are staying with my parents this year as it's their turn and it's my borthers birthday Christmas Eve, so when we stay there we always go out for drinks Christmas Eve night. Therefore I don't think there will be much point doing a hamper as we won't be in to enjoy the pj's, hot chocolate and dvds! I'm happy to go out for my brothers birthday as he doesn't get to do much with his birthday being on that day, but i've only recently learned about Christmas Eve Hampers and I really wanted to do one! Nevermind i'll start doing it next year!0 -

What about doing a December 1st hamper instead? You could have a little advent calendar in each, still jammies/hot chocolate/DVD and that way you have the whole of December to enjoy :-)

Could I ask for all of your wonderful help for a 'festival' hamper for my daughter please?
She has asked for hunter Wellies as her main present so I will put those in, with the socks, ticket for her first ever festival (I will be taking her, just one day so no camping) waterproof jacket and hand sanitizer.... What else?
Thanks in advance
