Me too! I'm actually quire irked about a code i had, I signed up with a new email address not long ago and they sent me a code for free delivery that i never used and now i can't find it!
I've never actually know the Disney store to do free delivery though? So if they have done in the past i'll cross all my finger and toesHaving a coke with youis even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona0 -

Littlemschatabox- I'm KS1 at heart absolutely dreading it been so stressed about it over summer I've given myself eczema! (who knew you could do that?!) Its a small school and I was told to changeit's made harder by fact I'm finishing my induction too.
Back on to the christmassy stuff I found the fair festive and was okay to wander around but was a bit small/ limited for gift ideas really. I wouldn't go into town just for it, would have to be shopping or there anyway.,
Shall have to check out the Disney stuff and keep an eye on it, i love their, im a big child at heart!'They only had one cow!'0 -
Hello everyone, wow it has been busy in here hasn't it!? Haven't been in here (much) since the start of this thread and just read back ALL the pages
Good job I love all this Christmas chat isn't it
Congrats for all new arrivals, preganancies, house moves, and generally being super organised!
Now the shops have started stocking Christmas bits and we have previews of gift collections it feels like everyone is hot on my heels and I'm starting to panic I'm not organised (crazy much? hehe). So over the weekend I have found lots of homemade gift ideas and recipes for hampers, as people seem to moan when I buy them anything it makes life a little easier but there are so many fb ideas finding it hard to keep it to a handful. I have finalised the Christmas dinner menu, it's just us but as we are visiting family in the morning we need to have it down to a military operationNeed to printe recipes and compile shopping list so I'm not faffing last minute (I'm half way there)
Have decided to make two elves for the Christmas elf 2012, have a list of materials needed, need to figure out what else we are crafting and get a bulk order in. No idea where to get the elves passports etc from so need to do some hunting on that. I imagine most of the tree decorations will be craftily made with scraps and odds and ends to save on crazy store prices.
Food wise, the only thing that needs to be started soon is the chutney, maybe the flavoured vodka but we already have jars of mincemeat not opened from last year and it seems I'm the only one who loves mince pies so that will be more than enough lol.
As far as Christmas presents go dd has her main pressie, I will make some felt food for her seeings as she loves it so much, and maybe a toy and some bracelets and necklaces for her stocking. We have a whole cupboard full of random stuff she would love from the tesco 75% off sale so mostly she is sorted. Plenty in there for the neices and nephews too. We have quite a few books set aside so we are going to wrap each one up in paper as an advent treat so each night we have a different new book for storytime.
Off to scout out which items I deffo want to make and get that shopping list sorted, and will try and figure out some sort of schedule of making say one project a week, otherwise I'm going to get flustered and unproductive lol.
So that's where I'm atHope you are all feeling organised, would be interested to hear if anyone else is going 'homemade' this year?
xComping wishlist for 2017

Well, it was quite a busy day in general but I did find time to sort the freezer and empty a cupboard in the kitchen which has been designated for Christmas food. I so need help though, what with Christmas, diet starting, making things and the general, I am growing to the idea of keeping a blog. It would be mainly therapeutic for me but I may add pics as things progress, so now I need advice. Where do I start? I've heard of different sites but I would really like to know what others recommend. I'm thanking you all in advance for suggestions please0

EXCITED!!! Well it's official ladies.....CHRISTMAS IS COMING!!!
Went to do my weekly shop at morrisons today....as I walked through the door I was greeted by the sound of Christmas music!!! Also a HUGE pile of my favourite mince pies....to which I screamed like a little girl at and picked up 6 boxes (to anyone who hasn't tried them it's morrisons own shortcrust mince pies - they come in a clear box and are 2 boxes for £2 - they are to die for!!!)
As I got half way around the shop I discovered the entire aisle of Christmas decs, cards, chocolates, giftsets etc. - EEEEEKKKKK (OH had to tell me to calm down as I got rather too excited and started skipping - he clearly didn't share my excitement -.- ) Unfortunately I live over a mile away from morrisons and don't drive myself so have to rely on the OH to take me and he refuses to stand in the Christmas aisle sobbing with happiness like meOn the upside I'm off to see the midwife tomorrow and the hospital is literally a 5 minute walk from there so since I'm having to get a taxi up there anyway I might aswell pop in and admire the display properly
So if anyone is in Bridlington morrisons tomorrow around 3pm and finds someone sobbing uncontrollably (tears of joy) in the seasonal aisle - please say hi Opee :rotfl:

Opee92 I know how you feel - I went shopping in Tesco earlier and they have started to put their Christmas chocolate and biscuits out!! It's not on the scale of Morrisons yet but it's starting - I was soooooo excited!! I spent some time looking at the stock and picking things up to look at them, I could see people looking at me and obviously trying to avoid it but I didn't care - I'm a Christmas nut and i'm not afraid to show it!
I am so excited now because it's only a matter of time before all of the stuff starts to come out! Yippee!! :j0 -
