Thank you for the warm welcomes. So, not sure on presents yet but I have decided to organise the season time, if that makes sense.
I need to start running down the freezer to make space for some Christmas baking and save some food shopping money for presents.
I also want a grand Christmas dinner table as cheap as I can. I want velvet and satin and proper napkins and cutlery not the same old same. So I guess I will be rummaging around markets etc for material scraps, beads and trim.
As for my ds, the family fund were very generous and gave him two hundred pounds for days out earlier this year (It was completely out the blue). So I have kept hold of it and thought he might be able to have some special Trips to London closer to Christmas to see the lights etc.0 -

ohhh dear poor hubby.
Well I can't find one I like (for a sensible price) so will have to buy one tomorrow (as I can't actually remember where my notebook stash went). :embarasseloves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0 -

Anyway, I've a guilty confession, DD and I were in town on Friday getting school shoes and after reading everyone's posts about yankee candles there was a yankee candle shop, so me and DD went in for a good sniff and we both were in heaven- and then I took her outside and pointed out all the shops that she knows i.e. McD's that was nearby and to make sure she brings her dad here when they go xmas shopping - hangs head for coaching my child so shamelessly...[/QUOTE]
This is genius! I might start hinting to my DD so she can take her Dad xmas shopping for me.Aims for 2014
