Part of the Furniture Name Dropper Combo Breaker
Just started my first proper bit of Christmas organisation! yay!

I've got my friends a little chocolate face mask and have popped it into a resealable bag (just one of those ones you can pick up in 99p store for card crafting!) along with a sachet of galaxy hot chocolate...they look fab!

Think I shall pop in either a little candy cane or something yummy and edible nearer the time as I have just enough space to pop something extra in! ..I know they probably won't give me gifts back (as we just have agreed not to over the last few years) but I really wanted to make a little something up for them and this has cost me next to nothing! :)
  • I am mum of one son aged 15 whom has aspergers syndrome and all the quirky ways that go with it.

Long story but I was in deep debt 27,000 but with lurking on these boards for a good few years I am finally debt free AND never going back to situation again! Also on a positive note my defaults are all up by 31st of Dec 2012 and I'm really excited about that.
Not so positive is what with my sons education (home educated!) and his problems of not socialising and a job even to leave the house some days for a walk. My weight has gone to a shameful eighteen and a half stone :O!

But I have decided to tackle the situation (like way back when I had a lightbulb moment and decided to get myself out of debt) and get my sons and my own life back on track so we can start 2013 full of determination and promise. This time though I have taken the step to join the forum and hopefully add to the chat rather than just lurk in a dark corner which I've been doing in real life as much as on here.
So please can I join this thread because I think throwing myself into Christmas is a positive move a a nice goal (alongside the weightloss) to end this year on. Not sure what my ds will be getting for Christmas yet but I am enjoying reading all the ideas.
So here goes I guess, to be continued .........

Sugarspun - Your xmas plan looks great and I will be following that too. :D.

Just managed to get a small Moshi Monster bargain from Sainsburys for my Moshi hamper. Moshi Monster reward stickers are normally £1.49 but are on offer at 74p, but strangely these are on buy one get one free as well. All the other Moshi stationery there still seems overpriced in my opinion.

I can also now officially say "I spy xmas!". My first xmas sighting in a shop was in my local B&Ms. There's nothing yet out on the shelves at eye level, but I spotted all along the top of the sheves is all the xmas stuff. Its the usual stuff - Snowman bath bombs, lipgloss sets, hot choc and mugs etc, but it all looks lovely. ;)

Tried my local Poundland but that was rubbish, they haven't even put halloween stuff out yet, so got no chance for xmas stuff.
    Aims for 2014
Drink a glass of water a day, Empty handbag at least once a week, Continue "not putting things off" and tackle things head on, Treasure people around me, Stay healthy and well away from hospitals, Continue to declutter/decorate house slowly and not get stressed because I can't do everything at once. :D
