  • Thanks for this, it really helps hearing this! We popped over there last night and every time we go I feel a bit more comfortable there. The only problem was we bumped into some neighbours and they told us all about a troublesome family that live nearby, they don't sound great so that made us a bit more apprehensive but hopefully they won't bother us where we are. I know we will be fine there. A week after we move in we're going on holiday for 2 weeks, then after that i'm sure Christmas will be here in no time! I'm looking forward to having a new house to decorate at Christmas! :T

Hmm Hamilton is not having the best season! :( Although as a McLaren fan I am happy that Button is on pole. I am enjoying that it's such an unpredictable season - you never know where anyone is going to be on the grid after qualifying!

yes it's good that it's unpredicatable and guess Lewis was unlucky yesterday (if it wasnt for bad luck he wouldnt have a lot!) as they split stretegy and it could easilly have worked for him, McLaren have made errors this season but I think some of them are due to them having to be creative and try new things, will see what happens today - wish he wasnt near Pastor on the grid tho, that man is a nutter! Jensen did a very good job :)

First thing I thought when I read about the troublesome family, was that there was/is a Home Info Pack that sellers have to give buyers, although I know it's being phased out? I think they have to disclose disputes or problems with neighbours, although unsure of teh legals, so that would tell me they dont have issues Im guessing? and it sounds as though the people you met yesterday were friendly so that's good :)

There is a family on our road who only live a few doors from us, who several lovely people have had issues with, but the girl and the mum are always so lovely and friendly and the dad spends ages chatting with my hubby and seems very nice, so it sometimes works out that because one person doesnt get along with them, others might? and also opposite us there are two families who loathe each other but then get on with everyone else LOL! so if I was moving in and listened to one of the ones who had issues Id be worried too, but perhaps others may have a different view or no problems, so I really hope that means it will all be fine for you - we've been here 17 years and there are people we just never see either, so you may never come across them :)

Yeah I'm thinking vouchers......he's impossible to buy for as he already has EVERYTHING!!! His Grandparents have brought him up from being a baby and have felt guilty about the fact his parents aren't around so they buy him absolutely everything he asks for. So vouchers may be the best option ;)

Just a though re nan, if you sign up to Vistaprint, and wait for an offer email they usually have notecards that you can personailse, (just double check that your getting the folded ones as they do note cards) ditto they also do personalised A4 letter size writing,

If your god daughter girlie, go for bangles, some lip gloss, hair accessories, maybe some girlie toiletties, does she like a theme, Miss Kitty or anything,
    xx

Personalised note cards, I love the sound of that! My mum uses vistaprint, do I could get her to keep an eye open for me with the emails! That's a brill idea thanks!!
Also apparently my god daughter is currently in love with toy story and in particular Jessie, I'm sensing a theme for the presents there :)

And snugglebunny thanks of the monopoly update, so hope they come back in stock to order!
