Snugglebunny and Gleek I know what you mean about the clove oil. My DH had a tooth problem a month or so ago and was using it - I kicked him out and into the spare bed until it was finished because it was making me heave :o

I've just bought my last Christmas present :D

It's a banjo for my husband, came from Amazon with my Swagbucks vouchers and cost me technically nothing :money:

I have all the stocking filler bits, so this week I am absolutely going to fill DH and DD's stockings. I also have the Christmas planner from organizedhome.com and this week is Week One so I'll be doing that too.

SO EXCITED. September means it's nearly here!

wow well done you. Thanks for the reminder about being week 1 means i can download it and actually use it properly this year :D struggled to find it so here's the link.

I've just been to Mr T and picked up a tin or celebration and one of miniture heros for £5each to hide away. I was hoping to get the haribo one they are doing this year but they didn't have any.

Does anybody know where I'll be able to get hOld of white bonbons before Xmas?? My auntie is mad about them and I'd like to put a jar of them in her pamper hamper but they are hard to find round here and it will be even harder bear Xmas I'm Guessing!!

not quite sure what white bonbons are. aquarterof.com has lemon ones (nothing came up when i searched white bonbons) might be worth looking tho.

Next did jars of bonbons the last couple of years, I know they did strawberry ones and I have a feeling they did the white ones to?
  • oooo! thanks for the reminder, I used A Quarter Of online a couple of years ago and they were fab, great service and they have almost anything on there so well worth a look
  • thanks for the Disney heads up! ther advent calendar they have on there is the one I bought last year (slightly different pics on it) which is great, theres enough room in each box to put a decent sized little gift, its £12 this year, was 15 last! its really nice though and they sold out last year :)

I just bought the Vanilla Cupcake and the new Red Velvet Yankee votives on Amazon, shopped around ebay and the outlets and found via Amazon to be the most cost effective, for those who are after anything :)
  • ok I'm confused.............

sugarspun you say today is week 1............the website says last weekend was but the only planners I can find start 6 weeks before.

    what am i missing?

    thanks.

do you think it would be very strange to do a 'pasta hamper'?? I was going to do a family member a cooking hamper but thought this could be a bit different

    - different types of pasta
    - a few sauces
-i got a pasta spoon in poundland today
    - a weight watchers pasta recepie book (she follows it ..... does it matter if it's not a pro-points one??)
    any other ideas??

*delurks* I think a pasta hamper would be a lovely idea, you could get a couple of nice pasta bowls too maybe? I've just checked on Amazon and there are two Weightwatchers pasta books - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Low-Point-Pasta-Recipes-Watchers/dp/0743239393/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1346517175&sr=8-1-spell and http://www.amazon.co.uk/Weight-Watchers-Pasta-Cookbook-Wendy/dp/0671714236/ref=sr_1_sc_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1346517175&sr=8-2-spell both cheap - can't vouch for either though!

    Sounds like a lovely idea!

    thanks.

I am doing Holiday Houseworks, which starts tomorrow officially :) I will join in the six-week Christmas one once the time comes.

Edit: Ikea do reindeer pasta which might make a pasta hamper more festive.
